This is hands down the best instructional video I have seen on the Internet.
I have previously limited my auto mechanics experience to shifting tyres and light bulbs. With the help of this video I managed to replace the lower tail light on my 2004 Volvo V70 (CBG) without breaking a single part of the lining, etc. Kudos!

Great instructional video. I replaced my tail lights in less than 90 minutes after watching this.

    This is very good
Only thing I’m wanting is showing close up of hidden clips or latches after removal. There’s usually a trick knowing which direction to move, pressure or insert a small screwdriver (.or plastic tool) to release hidden latches.
It’s _VERY_ easy to have trouble without this extra info
    Otherwise, well done !

Just like volvo...lift up the hood ornament and put a new car under it and replace the hood ornament. My goodness, you have to take half the
car apart to replace the light assembly!!!

Great explanation of how to replace the lens assembly - thank you. I replaced the upper bulb in the lower lens, right side a couple of months ago. But the other day the Text window displayed Bulb Failure Position Light. It's not the bulb; the bulb works if installed on the left side. So, how do you determine whether the fault is in the tail light assembly or in the wiring to the assembly? Thank you

Good video you made it easy for me to understand step by step, and you didn't. rush through the video , im not a mr. I'll fix it. 😂 But I do beleave, I can do this on my vehicle myself. The back passengers break bulbs, need replaced in rather not pay a lot money, spending funds I'd rather keep. I do need a ranch tool.

Hi Sue thanks for the tutorial, I have to change mine, as my lamp holder lugs are broken. So it looks like a nightmare for me at 75yrs. so here we go, I will have to change the both of them so it looks like a rear end strip out. i will need a dry day so I guese the police will be pulling me over a few times. Thanks.

just watching this after having some issues trying to change the bulbs and them not working after refitting. volvo engineers that designed these rear lights need stringing up!!! what a total crap design in terms of access to the bulbs and the the rubbish bulb holders.

    Great Video.
But what a bunch of over-engineered nonsense. 30 Years ago, you would open the Trunk and see the Bulb and the Lamp assembly mounting hardware. No Torx Bits, No Trim Tools, no Series of Brittle Plastic Parts to break. This is not an improvement. When you can watch a Video of a 90 year old Car being started after sitting in a field for 50 years, while a 20 year old Car needs to be junked as replacing the Defective Sensors costs more than the Vehicle is worth, there is something wrong with the process.
