At 6:38, I'm not sure how you got that new track to highlight and the "Natural Vocal" window in the top left hand corner to pop up so you could change the pitch on the "Pitch Scale". Can you please let me know? Also, what version do you have? I'm wondering if it's not popping up on mine because you have a newer version?

I don’t understand. If I play the bass in G but the GB default is C major does it mean it will change my bass to C major?
I want to slow the song down half speed and add a vocal and them speed it up so the local is an octive higher
I used GarageBand at the library but shouldn't they have all of the free plug-ins upgraded & installed? I've been working on already recorded vocals pitch controls for a month with no success Beyonce' & Meryl Streep sound terrible using regular AI app Revoice! HELP give me a hint how to perfect pitch control in GarageBand.
What do you recommend to change pitch of audio instruments?
If you need to make large changes to the pitch as in moving it up a semitone or more just use the transpose function on the MIDI notes. If you want to make fine adjustments thats a different story, some software instruments have pitch adjustments within the instrument, you might need to export as audio, re-import the track and then make fine pitch adjustments to the audio.
@@StudioHacks I'm talking about real instruments (guitar, bass, keyboards). so a live recording that needs to be moved down in key to adjust to various vocalists range.
