Looks good, just curious would it be possible to add some pigmentation to match the wooden color when mixin the filling agent?

Yep, little brown pigment in the mix would have looked good.

Man this looks so much like a board I sold to a guy in the UK back in 2006. I miss that board.

Looks good! Do you think the epoxy wasn't mixed enough hence you had those soft spots at the end which needed to be redone?

Thanks! Yeah that's the only thing I can think of. Epoxy is always a bit trickier than poly imo.

The disc on a dril creates a lot of heat. I think it's best to avoid sanding an epoxy sand coat like that (i'm just a backyarder, but have run into that ). Orbital or larger disc sander at slower RPMs preferred on the rougher grids. Nice work BTW! @7:31 onwards is completely realistic with epoxy. Thanks for sharing.

Was there a way to make it match the wooden color using that material? great job by the way. Regards from Portugal

Thanks! Yes, brown pigment would have worked well.

@@Rogue_wave any good art store will sell powdered acrylic paint powder (for the die hard artists who want to make their own). These mix well with micro balloons and can even tint epoxy.
