The night the balance of power shifted from red to blue in the capital.
Wouldn't say there was any power shift on this night as Arsenal went on to win the league that season...
@@younusbendame742 And we beat the invincibles arsenal in the champions league
@@catthomas3097 the invincibles are so overrated, they drew so many games. There's been at least 3 or teams that have beaten there points tally. Including us the following season and we only lost 1. Our double winning team was better the invincibles.
@@davidtawse6765 well until Chelsea actually go the full season unbeaten then come back and talk. Even Guardiola’s man city teams haven’t gone the season unbeaten.

Since 2004 arsenal won 3 fa cups we’ve won a CL , 5 PL , 5 Fa cups , 3 league cups , 2 europa leagues. London has been blue ever since just facts
4 fa cups but yeah

Tom Dorey sorry forgot about ur extra fa cup my bad London’s definitely red then
4:43 John Terry huging Wayne Bridge ... what a moment.
I’m seeing a lot of JT comments but if you ask me, I don’t understand why people put Terry and Giggs in the same bracket,
Giggs shagged his brothers current wife for 8 years.
Terry had a one night stand with Bridge’s ex.
I think one is a lot worse than the other
strongraycool44 :D definitely. Giggs’s whole family don’t even talk to him anymore
Truth
Ex girlfriend too so it's literally not that bad
Giggs one is terrible. Terry's was bad but was an ex and he wasnt the only one to bang it. Icardi one was bad to but nothing is worse then Giggs one.
Bridge overreacted massively imo.
Before Drogba, Malouda, Anelka, Kalou there was JFH, Eijur, Duff, Cole

Rex Storm Crespo
Shevchenko

Only Lampard, gallas, Terry, gudjohnsen and to an extent cudicini survived the overhaul

I remember watching this match as a 12 year old. First ever game I watched Chelsea play in UCL

The fact this Chelsea beaten INVINCIBLES Arsenal at flippin Highbury, that alone speaks volumes.
Just the "Invincibles" losing their biggest game of that season, at home.
Niall B thats why this game can be cruel, Arsenal did the double over Chelsea in the league that season, knocked them out of the FA cup, tied the first ucl leg but lost this match at the death. Its disappointing but that’s football.
@@Gunner_99 Bloody Football eh?
"Invinciblesss" Where 👀
@@Gunner_99 12 draws out of 38 games. Chelsea won the PL the next year more dominantly .
The "Invincibles" lost six matches that season and were knocked out of every cup competition they were in.
I will never forget this night! I was so happy and proud. Ended getting a beating from an Arsenal fan that night, and still I was happy.
So much has changed , back then we were laughed at and considered a small team now it’s quite unreal what we achieved from being small to one of European elite football clubs

Most underrated Chelsea legend _Damien Duff!
Should have stayed longer
scorpio 91 so good for us
Duff & Robben were epic. I remember Duff from his Blackburn days. He really stood out in that team. He was vital for us throughout our sucess & not talked about enough.
Makelele shot
Lehman: *Surprise Pikachu Face*
3 times that season Arsenal had gotten the better of Chelsea twice in the league and in the FA Cup via the Jose Antonio Reyes show but this was the one that mattered most and the goal that won it from Wayne Bridge was slick, well worked and a lovely finish past Lehmann. As for Arsenal well this was such a major opportunity squandered, this was probably the best chance they had of winning the Champions League more so than 2006 because all the fancied heavy hitters Bayern, Juventus, Manchester United had crashed out at the Round of 16 plus Real Madrid had fallen to Monaco on the same night which this a major disappointment.
Gudjonsen and hasselbank up top 😍
My brother loves Chelsea sooooooo much

VAMOS CHELSEA!!
2004 is classic. man, I'm getting old.
Even the Euros was a crazy one. Watching a young Ronaldo along with other stars from every other nation. PES4 on Ps2 was a mad game to play

hah so called Invincibles crashed out of CL, Fa cup, league cup, and draw in 12 PL games
Those days Chelsea were a thrill to watch . Nowadays Chelsea , Timo Werner missing open goals . Kai Havertz passing the ball to the opponents to score. The only thing that is positive is that Chelsea can still count on Christian Pulisic and Mason Mount
Nowadays what? They won their second Champions League with those "flops".
Chelsea have had loads of flops down the years. Torres, Morata, Higuain, Shevchenko, Crespo, Falcao, Sturridge, Kezman, Mutu Carlton Cole. None of these strikers lived upto the expectations when we got them & couldn't establish themselves. Few of them may have scored vital goals, but it doesn't take the fact that they were poor overall.
Strikers that were good were the ones like Zola, Hasselbaink, Gudjohnsen, Drogba, Demba ba, Anelka, Diego Costa. Just shows that some players can settle easily & some can't.
Back when Arsenal were acc a good team
Good Comeback

With which team play Chelsea the semifinals after this match?
Liverpool
@@scorpio9136 thank you, so it was the final at Stambul right?
Nope a year earlier Porto won and Chelsea lost to Monaco in semi my mistake
This game is seen as the great missed opportunity in Arsenal history, as “The Invincibles” are seen by the team’s fans as the team that should have won the Champions League. After all, Chelsea went on to lose to AS Monaco, who went on to lose to FC Porto. And Chelsea then hired Porto's manager: Jose Mourinho. Had Arsenal done it, it might not have strangled Chelsea's golden age in its crib, but it might have spared England the annoyances of "The Special One."
