I'm surprised they didn't put the putty in the foundry, see if they can burn away the non metal matter and melt the iron in it. Doubt it'll work that way but nonetheless

What will happen if you put ferrofluid in a Microwave. And will it work the way after
Ferro fluid has metal in it Metal + microwave = boom question solved
Ferro means to contain iron it would arc short and burn while it released magnified micro wave frequency in short burning everything in the wave radius aka irradiate
You should stress test a flash drive and see how well it works.

This wouldn't work, melting point of iron is above the boiling point of gallium, if you tried the gallium would just evaporate away, same for copper, you might be able to get away doing mercury, tin, or lead

I hope these chaps do their research and/or know their stuff. Because incinerating all sorts of materials and metals can create what is called, 'off-gassing', that can really affect one's health. Let's hope they know about this (I'm pretty sure they do).

Never put magnets in a microwave it would make a magnetic anomaly and like all anomolys it would react with an unpredictable outcome electromagnetism on steroids my guess is it would levitate for a sec then if the microwqve was still functioning when it hit the opposite polar frequency of the magnet it would shoot in a fandome direction at super sonic speed its basically a rail gun with no aimable barrel
