That has a lot of potential to be awesome for sure, but also a lot of potential for disappointment, since if the microwave's not big enough it may not heat it evenly enough to get the best results.
I once put an egg directly on a lava flow. It exploded in a few secs. Then it cooked rather quickly. Topped it with bacon.

@@bond674 Norway is Awesome I'd love to live there one day. To help you out, the Microwave they used cost $159.99 without Tax at Home Depot. So with their local sales tax its $167.75 with my local sales tax its $173.19 Which is currently 1709,08 NOK for them and 1764,51 NOK for my area. I hope this helps give you an idea and was interesting. I love learning these things. I'm curious what a Large 1250 Watt Microwave cost in Norway.

The reason for the avocado variance was how ripe it was. Older avacadoes are softer, meaning they have less potential to build pressure. The Twitter users one was probably younger, so it was able to hold enough pressure to explode.
Since some people genuinely want to learn, which is why I said it. No offense, but it really does not harm you if I post it. Furthermore, you spent more time on the comment by responding than by simply skipping over. If people want to learn, you should be open to it, not suppressing. Just food for thought.

I think you should freeze dry items then grind them to a powder, then use the powder in baking as a flour or sugar replacement. See if it would work.
I can confirm that grinding freeze dried fruit into powder works! And it dissolves like powered sugar. Ground freeze dried strawberries actually mix in very well with frosting.

So i got laughing and my baby got laughing and this is hilarious.....
When I was in college years ago, one of my friends tried to hard boil an egg in the microwave and it exploded just like that. I laughed while he was cleaning it up. I thought it was so fun I wanted to do it again, but put the egg into a ziplock bag first to contain the mess. That didn't work; the explosion still made a mess of the whole microwave! He laughed at me while I was cleaning it up.
I was hungry at 3 am and decided that a boiled egg was all I could manage cuz I was 10. I microwaved it and woke up my dad who almost killed me as he thought someone had broken in.

This reminded me of my childhood. My family was the first one in the neighborhood to get a microwave. Both parents worked. Lunchtime was the kitchen filled with friends and classmates experimenting with that microwave, blowing things up, melting, lightning balls, and etc. It was amazing how the thing held up and lasted as long as it did. It eventually blew the door off while my mother was using it. Oh, those were the days.
Definitely fun to watch this over and over again. Can you guys try whole squashes, snow globes, and frozen bottles of water until they blow?
