Something like a... mute button or something.
"I'm a very strong person, but I desperately need your help big company 😭"
when i was a kid i used to deal with bullies alone and come back home bleeding sometimes, and i don't think i'm that strong. and this girl can't even deal with mean words and calls herself "strong"? what a joke.
Because they don't want to solve the problem they just want their feelings to be heard.
Consequences be damned.
Oh no 5 people are boycotting.
Anyways
"I am such a strong person, that hearing just one bad word makes me go into a complete nuclear sized meltdown!"
"I am an incredibly strong person" - the woman whining about someone saying a word to her
Her acting that way is why people do it.
You covered all the points I could have ever thought of. In order to avoid abuse of a report function every conversation in every match ever played would have to be monitored for foul language, which sounds horrifying. And, yeah, for some people this is an outlet for stress because nobody actually gets hurt. If another person's language offends someone so much that they don't want to hear it anymore, game devs made it possible to mute others. Calling for hardware bans is some combination of immature, stupid, and/or maliciously intentioned.
What word was said to her?
What game was being played?
Who is this strong person?
@@twiceremoved7339 No idea who she is, or the person who profaned the custom of the hard "R", but I know Valorant when I see it.
Interesting how she didn't call for help from any bears to lecture the man on how to be nicer on the internet, I kinda thought bears were more civilized, well-behaved, and gentlemanly than those awful, men of savagery.
Nah…they never claimed a bear was considerate, or gentle.
They were explaining that they’d rather die a horrible death, than potentially carry and raise the offspring of what they may consider an inferior male.
@@basilbaby7678 Course, I don't see the money meeting the mouth on that one. It was all just one big performative approved groupthink opinion.
@@princessrescuermk3, even group-think has a central tenet…

Can I get a compensation for every game that insults me?
I’m offended by this woman’s tweet. Can we ban her from the internet?
There is no halfway point.
Because the people making the complaints are disingenuous and bogus.
This is only about control.
Nothing else.
Tbh , sometimes I like to switch my VPN to the UK and heckle Ubisoft players knowing damn well my persistent antagonism leads to contacting their local authorities. I don't care, and I think it's funny. 😎

Posts and attitudes like hers. Really need to be the unacceptable behavior.
These people invoke their god the state at the slightest bit of dissent or struggle. They are the most fanatical religious group this world has ever known.
"I'm an incredibly strong person", yet you you get offended because someone cursed you in a competitive game...
Absurd that a woman can just ruin a mans life over a dry as hell joke
"I am offended THAT you're offended" is a phrase I've been using for about two decades.
The idea of two separate servers would still not work, the terminally offended would still be triggered by the mere existance of a completely uncensored server.
Are they going to stop me from trash talking during a pick up game at the YMCA? The world is ending...wtf
The whole thing of like "You can't say that but we can." Is literally a way for people to lord power over you, the fact that it's acceptable for a black person to physically assault someone over "the N-word" is just insane especially when that word has pretty much moved well past the racist connotation that was originally behind it. This is 1 of the only ways for racism to disappear is by stripping away the power of racial slurs.
She's a grifter. The full video shows her actively antagonizing everyone including her team who muted her, and the guy she picked on she muted at first then she unmuted him to keep taunting him "for clout" - her words
either way, she's an enabler of corporate and state censorship.
Does she work at Kotaku?
She complains about gamer words while dropping F bombs twice in the post.
Listening to a woman on anything is the stupidest thing one can do.
is she one of those strong girl bosses i keep hearing about?
>I am an incredibly strong person
Full context: she talked shit to him all match, muted him then "unmuted for content", rage quits and now plays victim.
It's not that they don't know the block function exist. It's that they can't stand the thought that somebody they don't like will be able to remain free and do their own thing. Blocking isn't enough, they want the person punished, unable this continue to do their own thing, for the crime of not being liked or saying something haram. Hence, also separating servers isn't enough, they want to go full inquisition and punish all "heretics".
She doesn't sound like a strong person.
She wouldn't be happy, of course.
Hardware bans come into play then it will become the year of the linux desktop
Im excited for Windows 12 and it's itegrated "AI" features.

There is no world where this wasnt just a terrible, bad joke, not a real threat.
I would like to see her on a MW2 lobby back on the good old days. Repeal the 19th
Streamers are not human, and this saga proves this.
Prime example why you need to bully the weak and tell these people "fuck no"
So in the clip at the start she says "Yappa yappa yappa, you're literally just all talk..." Clearly she doesn't take him seriously and she views this as banter.
But the second her feelings are hurt, now it is harassment, like my goodness I've never seen Schrodinger's feminist in the wild.
A woman is in a super position of both being empowered and also being victimized at the same time, meaning that at any time she can choose to be either, for any reason.
Woman: "He said the dreaded word! BAN HIM IMMEDIATELY!!"
Me: "Ma'am, this a Modern Warfare 2 server. You'll be banned for being a little..."

Woman's Boyfriend: "Learn to mute or we're breaking up. I'm not marrying a fragile woman with this kind of hobby."
Remember when gaming was mainly a hobby for men? Remember being able to chat shit without repercussions? Its been so goddamn long I'm starting to forget the good times.
Diversity hiring ruined entertainment

If you see the comments under that tweet you'll see that a lot of people tell her that it's her faul for unmuting them for content and she grow thicker skin.
"I am an incredibly strong person..." I don't think that word means, what you think it means.
she is INCREDIBELY STRONG PERSON, so she can bear the immense pressure of playing videogames. But not strong enough, because the gamer word broken her incredible strength.
MEanwhile, she uses the "F" gamerword twice in her written rant - note that as written, it is not impulsive but deliberate
OMG
Woman gets trash talked in a game and wants everyone to care and treat her like a sacred victim
that person saying those things was the highlight of her career, she is so happy to have a reason to tantrum and a chance to play the victim.
She needs to experience another thousand hours of uncensored voip.
Then she'll be strong enough to hear anything without having her feelings hurt.
I think the best compromise is to help her deal with disruptive gaming. She should be hardware banned for trolling.
The worst part about old school trash talking is I died more from laughing and losing focus.
Why do companies add mute and block features if people can't use them for some weird reason?
you are absolutely correct , these people need to be removed from everything
