Sadly it’s a story we’ve told before and it’s a question we’ve asked before too. Who decides when a child's life support is turned off? Their parents or doctors? When five-year-old Tafida Raqeeb developed severe brain damage in February, her mother Shelina Begum was warned she had a 1% chance of survival. Tafida remains at the Royal London Hospital, as her parents face a battle to keep her alive and seek treatment abroad whilst doctors want to withdraw care. Shelina joins us today and we hear from Dr Ranj.
