How did you get the Water Temp in the digital Display? I have a 2011 Ford Fiesta, does it work with that? Any possibility?

driving Ford Eco-Sport 1.5 TDCI 2018 model ,How can i check the Engin temp on the cluster without installing a temp gauge its still a brand new car sitting on 14 438 km's now but would be nice if i could see the engin temp rather than the "outside" temperature, please if anyone have advice or know how to check the engine temp.. feel like driving to Midas and buying a temp gauge and installing it.. had a problem where a water pipe came loose because of a faulty clamp and the car only showed a warning by the time I opened the bonnet like 6 seconds after the light came on the car had no water, motor sounded like I was racing as it cooled down ,only drove it from my house to the mall at about 60kmp/h ,Ford fixed the problem but still I'm left with no answers to why the car doesn't have an engin temp gauge!??????

I have a 2012 SES, and the Odometer Cycle/Reset button is on the end of the turn signal stick. Does this still work?
It should work. Sometimes there's also OK button on the steering wheel.
is it pre-facelift or after version? It look like mix. Pre-facelift red elements and after facelift blue board computer.

Will this work on 2013 fiesta se? It doesn’t have push to start it’s just key and ignition start so I wasn’t sure if it would work and will it tell me if I’m throwing any diagnostic codes?

It showed error coded like P078 etc. Why?? when ODB was None. What you did in such a case

AFAIK you can't.
you need to select consumption display on normal mode and long press the button for a few seconds. (you can also do this by pressing to the top of signal lever.)
@@mrfixpl Hello, and how do you know from when does that average consumption count? since the last deposit? the last 100km? the whole life of the car?
Does anyone know how to get out of diagnostic mode? In my other Fords, I simply turn off ignition and take key out. But in my Fiesta 2009, it has now stayed stuck in this mode permanently!!!
Maybe the button is stuck pressed?
@@mrfixpl No, checked that. But sorted it out this morning. Connected my Forscan software with OBDII, did a diagnostic check via that, resolved issue.

Press and hold button, and turn on the engine with one turn of the key. Engine will start and the menu will appear in few seconds.
You would have to repeat this each time you want to use the menu while driving.
I tried it but doesnt work ... I mean it shows crazy numbers :P

Hi, is the battery volt indicator 100% accurate? Mine shows 117 with the ignition on and jumps to 134 when the alternator kicks in..
When I test with the multimeter it's showing as 12.6V and 14.05 with the engine running (drops to 10.8 when starting)
I ask because I'm having intermittent electrical cut outs when going from ignition to engine start.

Check your owners manual, but most likely it's an maintenance/oil indicator. Time for regular service or detected oil contamination with fuel.
Any idea on how we can swap instantaneous mileage with engine temperature gauge?
Hey Mr Fix. I've tried this in my MK7 Fiesta Zetec and, although it does go into test mode, it doesn't do anything. It does not begin the gauge sweep and pressing the trip reset button does nothing. What am I doing wrong?
