I was diagnosed with Transverse Myelitis, which makes taking Hydrocodone acceptable. I am also on Methadone for an opioid problem. But Methadone does very little for my chronic pain, and thankfully my doctor's know this. So the Hydrocodone really helps my chronic pain, and I am so grateful for this video in hopes that it will educate doctor's to not ignore patients who have an opioid problem, but who also have rare chronic pain as I do.
Chronic pain is hell ,i have muscle damage in my whole body due vitamine b6 toxicity. They gave me gabapentin that didnt work enough eventually i got addicted to oxys 30s . I hope they give me at least something or i have no choose to continue my own demise. I rather die then living in pain all the time. I dont know what to choose meth or subs.
@@jasonflynn8756 no i dont go into withdrawal mixing the 2. Thats only if i took suboxone after taking Methadone, then precipitated withdrawal would happen.
When I broke my wrist and had to get a plate and pins put in my arm dr.told me my methadone would be enough for pain control doctors are not educated enough and don't have a clue.
I'm having kidney stone pain and have no idea what to do. I take 16mg bupe a day. Pain meds aren't working and are like taking a tic tac. I think I'm going to end up in the er just from the pain alone.
I really wish I was able to talk with you about my situation. This is EXACTLY my problem. I don’t want to air to much dirty laundry suffice that it is extremely frustrating finding any dr that will help.
I'm on methadone and I've been having pain. I was wondering what people on methadone are supposed to do. The methadone doesn't do anything after you've been on it for a while but keep withdrawal away and it definitely doesn't help with pain. Maybe at first it does.
I was on methadone quit after 11 years it was beyond hard but got on Suboxone years later cause life was never the same idc who u are if u take pain meds long enough you will become physically addicted then be called a junkie or worthless I was injured on the job and that’s what started it not to get high I took my meds as I was prescribed you still build up tolerance which took over my life and ruined it lost everything and everyone I loved u see who is real and who is along for the ride real quick like
It's been one year and eight months since I've taken any methadone I was taking 120 mg a day and I wean myself down to 10 mg a day then 5mg just to keep the worst of the withdrawal at Bay Two and a Half mg every other day then I stopped it was horrid I'm still not up to par but I've been taking kratom and thank God it's working and giving me motivation I am starting to take care of myself except for I retired and collect Social Security and it's not near enough to eat proper and pay bills
My problem is I dont know where to go to get my meds. My doctor of ten years now is stopping giving me pain meds leaving me in pain and trouble. Is suicide from pain are methadone for pain, which is better???? Where in N. Texas can I go for help?
Take kratom extracts for a little bit find a good vendor I’ve been paralyzed and the pain Medicine is the only thing that helped me walk again but it’s tough hang in there buddy I hope oh learn to love life without pain soon :)
I had a kidney stone and was writhing on the floor in the hospital and I was given nothing. I was left to suffer so badly. It was bad.. I have broken bones and all kinds of problems and kidney stones is the worse.
That’s great but most doctors don’t have any idea how to treat a person on Suboxone in acute pain

@@AverageJoe1006 oh no im so sorry to hear that. Yea the Gabapentin actually works 4 me but i have to take a lot of it. Like 900mgs 4 times a day

I am in so much pain I have been on Suboxone for 3 years the only thing they do for me is give me a little energy I need something for pain

Yes. Non-narcotics are usually more effective. One exception may be acute orthopedic pain.

So you’re telling me I can take Percocet for acute pain while on Suboxone?
