- The root cause of Ninebot Max G30 Error 14 (for throttle) & 15 (for brake) is that: the display unit cannot detect the connection between the throttle or the brake, then it shows the error 14 or 15, so the solution is simply to reconnect them.

I had ‘error 15’ showing, done what you did in the video, and it’s cleared it. Those wires was stuffed/crammed into a grey rubber cup with some right angle bends to them.So I took them out of that grey cup and tape each connector, and free those wires so the do not have such a bend on them, THANKS MATE 👍🏾🇬🇧

If it didn't solve the problem, try disconnecting all the 3 wires, and connect them back. Error 14 worked that way for me.

Thanks this fixed it for me. In my case, I had to first remove the cables from a rubber pouch. Then I just pressed the connectors for my together. The error code went away.

In case ^ this ^ doesn't work for someone: what fixed it for me was taking apart the break handle, cleaning the sensor and wiring, taping the sensor in place and putting it back together very firmly.

How did you clean the sensor?

Mine is doing the same thing but I’m getting nothing but a beeping sound but no display and I checked the wires but nothing pls help
Thanks, when it was beeping I disconnected the connector with a green cable, connected it back and it worked.
When disconnecting the wires does the scooter have to be on or off ?

Kudos to this video: I've watched all the other Error 14 videos, including the ones that agonizingly walk beginning-to-end through dismantling and trying to reassemble the Hall Effect Sensor. This video should be the FIRST step: just like looking to see if a dead appliance is really plugged in before you start tearing it apart searching for a problem. Twice now I found - and I don't quite understand why - that the little white wiring harness under the dashboard rather than the dozen moving parts in the throttle is the problem. Checking this is infinitely faster (as is buying a new throttle on Amazon rather than jiggering with the old one should it happen that the throttle Hall Effect sensor really has failed). Tools-wise you need a very small O2 T bit as well as a jeweler's Phillips head and tiny scissors to cut the wire tie on the rubber boot holding the cables, plus electric tape and a new cable tie. Do it with some light as the fasteners are all very small.
Where can I find the tool that you used?
I did this and it cleared the error code but didn’t fix the problem, I still have no drive to the throttle. I didn’t take all the wires out of the rubber boot and tape them individually, will that help?

I had this issue too, I have reset factory defaults and it stopped doing it.
There is a decrease in the speed, the speed was 25 km before, and now the speed has become 22 km in the fast sports mode, how can I restore the speed as it was in the first 25 km

Disconnected the throttle cable and reconnected it, did not fix error 14....
This method can fix most cases of the error 14 &15, but if you cannot fix it please replace a new throttle.

I had error 15 and had to replace the full break. A surface mount component broke of (for some reason) on the break sensor.
This happened to me on my brand new Max. Getting a replacement but recommend putting some electrical silicon on the Hall effect transistor (surface mount component) and let it dry for a few hours before you re install. NOTE: The silicon should not interfere with the Hall effect transistor sensing the magnet but to be safe I would silicon all around the component and the 3 leads that are soldered to the board and keep the silicon off the top/face of the component. This will ensure vibrations don't cause the same problem again..

@Beta no,you dont need too,you can just replace the controller board [box] it cab be found on ali express for 40 euro,you get the controller,display and cover for that price or less,hope that helps people in the chat

What special tool is that?
The tool/screw-driver is called "Torx Key " but make sure it is one with a divot/ hollow in the center, you probably can purchase a set of these on AliExpress
Also I believe the size is #14 but I might be mistaken, so you are better off just purchasing a set of these just to be safe, they are fairly inexpensive on AliExpress. FYI
