Really useful video from someone coming from the PC world. Thanks man, I would be so lost. Did you ever learn on a PC when you got into software development or was it always on the Mac? I love my new Macbook Pro M2. Still takes a little getting used to but it's so much better than anything available on a PC IMO.
This is probably the most useful Mac tip videos I've watched (and there has been a LOT). The tips were genuinely useful and not your basic "heres how you change wallpaper" kinda content. Great video!

I have a quick question about the battery life. I just upgraded from my 2016 MacBook to an M2 MacBook Air so it was strange for me when my laptop recommended me to have the computer attached to the AC so as to not use the battery. Would you recommend I have my MacBook always on the AC when I am at home to preserve the battery for longer? I am not very tech savvy so not even sure if I have the right idea lol thank you!
With the three or more desktops, each occupying memory space, how much RAM did you go for? I feel I made a big mistake when I purchased the MBP, I use the 16", and I should have gone for the 32Gb. Also, holding down the command button you can drag the icons no longer needed in the menu bar.

Stage manager works very good for me
I always go to Accessibilities and turn on three-finger drag. Much easier to drag. It does, however relegate Mission Control to four-finger swipe up.

I never knew about that Swipe Up with 3 Fingers trick --- thanks! Coincidentally, I too always clean up that atrocious dock. Like you, I have the Applications icon in the dock, in Folders view (just a personal preference of mine). I also have a Downloads Folder in the dock.

I didn’t include it in the video, but there are more trackpad gestures you can customize too. All of the gestures can be programmed to the MX master/anywhere 3, too.
Also not included in the video, but something you might get use out of are Hot Corners on the mac 👍🏼
