He's doing well considering he has no background at all, People have no idea how hard it is with no amateur experience, Woodley managed his distance really well despite his terrible crouch and stance, He was way better than I expected. If Paul is serious in any way he should face a few journeymen with real background. Very doubtful though.

This fight proved that Jake knows how to control the distance and win rounds, and that Woodley is still gun shy. The rematch gotta be for 12 rounds, so that somebody gets stopped instead of just another decision again...

I hate JP as much as the next guy. But i gotta admit that tyron got sloppy in this fight, he could actually finish the fight at 4 but he really squandered that opportunity by not finishing him. Pretty sad tbh, that he got defeated by himself once again. but I still think tyron is a great fighter though.
No he could NOT have KO’d him... *Jake was NOT rocked.* He got clipped while he was throwing a check left hook. Basic physiques, he was off balance. *He was fine immediately after moving off the ropes.*

@@adnanmoh8835 uh they didn’t fight, they boxed. He isn’t a disgrace, he is 4x welterweight champion, in FIGHTING. He never boxed a round in his life until tonight. Boxing isn’t fighting, in fighting if they clinched Jake would have been on his back, full mounted and smashed until he turned his back then he would have gotten chocked out. Also, Tyron landed the only big punches of the night, one dropped Jake. So yeah, Jake was more active but he also got rocked and won’t be boxing a pro boxer anytime soon.

I wouldn't say clear cut. If this was amateur boxing maybe but Woodley was clearly causing more damage. I'm happy with the decision but let's not act like Jake wasn't lucky to get the win here. He has to improve before facing a better opponent. It may be a good idea to fight Woodley again just for the experience.
@@michaelrandall7667 Clear cut? I scored Tyron to win, and was quite surprised to hear the judges scores. Two of the three judges were from Ohio, and the event was hosted by Showtime, who wants to make a star out of Jake. Jake barely landed anything but glancing jabs the entire fight. One hook at the end of a round that didn't even phase Tyron. Tyron landed jabs throughout the fight as well, but also landed like 6 bombs on Jake, almost throwing him completely out of the ring with how hard he hit him. Jake looked like he had just woken up from a dream lol. Go watch the fight with a scorecard and score it for yourself. Tyron did wayyyyy more damage and he 100% won that fight.

Tyron fought at his weight. Jake isnt an experienced boxer is he, hes been doing it for three years. And Tyron isnt jsut any welterweight. At a time he was considered one of the best welterweight ever and has one of the hardest punches in that division and still didnt manage to even knockdown jake.

He really performed awful this fight, been training years non stop, sparing top level boxers and showed up like this, seems like he didn’t improve much since the Ben fight .
He improved fast in the beginning, and slowing down like running out of talent. Defense is awful , combos only end with over hand rights, looking away closing eyes
