+Okko Kooks Yeah, I don't know why it's so hard for documentary filmmakers to make comprehensive films about the porn industry. They all keep latching on to the human interest stories when its virtually impossible to get an accurate human experience in the industry because of all the divergent personalities and life experiences. Even Frontline had that problem when they did American Porn back in '02.
I think that if they honest and not scripted a like reality TV, it's the best way to show the industry. I mean no body can know more than the people who experienced this stuff. The first one really gave me perspective about all this.
Thats why there is already the documentary called Hot Girls Wanted. this a sequel to follow the lives, not the job.

I love how the woman states that we cannot deny that porn is sex education today. It is very true that this is the case considering a lot of schools don't actually have an implemented sex education course. And even if they do, the course often doesn't include same sex precautions (lgbtq+),etc. I think porn should also be included in the discussion of sex education as many young people have been exposed to sexual content on the internet whether it is intentional or not. Porn can often portray an unrealistic view of sex as it is a production and is for the eyes of the people. That doesn't always mean the people within the video are enjoying it. Many people who have brought themselves out of this line of work have admitted to taking drugs provided by the producers, etc. during the act. This left them with no other choice but to stay as they were addicted. Many have also said that they have wanted to stop during the shooting of porn but were not allowed to. Im not saying this is the case for all porn but its important we educate ourselves and teach values and the importance of sex and what it means to all of us individually. Its important for us to understand that porn is typically like a movie and isn't always realistic at least not to everyone. Everyone can have kinks, etc. but not everything you see is what someone likes/wants to be treated especially in such an intimate setting.

I am really interested in watching this from a 'hidden lives' perspective.
This seems to be sort of a response to the first film where that framed the narrative as "all the girls are being exploited and they're not smart enough to know it." Whereas this one is exploring different avenues that they're involved in it as well as showing the consumers perspective.
