@Blair Frost the washburn comes with d'addario strings so they're nice but on budget guitars you should always replace them for newer ones
One of the best strat-style guitars in its price range imho. Good sustain and better than a Squier Bullet strat, only heavier. Maybe even just as good as the Affinity

Well in my opinion, both are sss have different prices and other stuff, for me it comes down to what feels better on you. But the washburn is really good for the price.

For me works well as is, but if you plan to do more modifications, maybe the pickups to a better one of your choosing. And yes a bit of basic setup as well
