As much as I appreciate Moon's content and the ideas he spreads, with the ending of this video it just occurred to me that it's still a business. All this talk and the moral of the video is: "here's how I got successful according to the metrics I constantly criticize; join my paid community subscription. I promise this time you'll feel happy."
In the end, consumerism's greatest strength is that even rebellion becomes a niche market like the rest.

It's a particular problem with Conservatives. They whine and cry about being silenced and not being able to succeed in today's society but never actually do anything about their own suffering or offer any solutions for today's problems. If all the modern problems of our world are to be solved, it requires a total rejection of everything liberal and conservative, and replace it all with a new, forward thinking ideology that actually allows for the state to give people opportunities to fulfill their natural national duty towards their society instead of just turning everyone into drones who are stripped of any opportunity to serve their society and told to simply be a cog in the system with no purpose.

Yes, I also think like that. I believe Moon is sadly turning into these corrupt dogmatic people who will promise you everything you wish at a price, which makes no sense, since it always seems to be this scenario of someone creating a echo-chamber and things that do harm society, yet they never give a solution, unless you pay for a course which will just take you to square one. Good tips. One flaw in the video I can easily point out is the "soy leading to feminization" thing. The studies most often cited for this claim were done exclusively on men who have fertility issues already, and the correlation wasn't even that strong to begin with. More robust studies have shown phytoestrogens don't have a noticeable or otherwise significant impact on our hormones like the compounds in things like plastics and birth control do.

@@presidential3228He specifically said "too much", as in it's not inherently bad that you can sit in front of a screen but there's a point to where it exceeds an amount of exposure that can eventually become harmful to the individual. Implying that it doesn't matter what content you're consuming, what he's referring to is the amount you subject towards yourself. You can still become weak for sitting in front of a screen for unhealthily long durations regardless on whether the content is educational or not. What matters is that you don't get enveloped in garbage content like TikTok and social media BS but also recognising the importance to take physical breaks away from the screen.

This video was just a weird and random collection of assertions that are at best only vaguely linked to any main argument about "why Americans are so dumb", fired off in rapid succession, giving very little time for anything to sink in other than a "here's a zillion reasons I think you suck", which is amusing, because that, too, is given as one of the reasons you suck: "another reason Americans are so dumb is because they listen to people putting them down, which Americans may consciously know isn't meant personally, but still take to heart subconsciously, the stupid dummies! And that's not all, here are more reasons Americans are so dumb!"
If you're paying attention to the video and trying to think critically about it at all, the whole thing becomes a bizarre exercise in asking "but what happened to the mouse?" For example, the video starts off with an assertion that one of the first reasons Americans are so dumb, is because Sigmund Freud's brother's neighbor's barber's nephew's school bully studied psychology and then applied it to manipulate people through advertising and propaganda. Maybe that's right, I don't know, but it's never really explained beyond that - "This psychologist was really good at convincing Americans to start smoking and buying disposable razors, and that's just one reason Americans got so dumb, the dumb dummies!" It's a non-sequitur - I kept waiting for an elaboration on how this interfered with education, or evidence to link advertising with a drop in intelligence or critical thinking, or an explanation for why advertising before then helped promote critical thinking and education (after all, propaganda and advertising go back a very long way, into the ancient world!)
I get about three quarters of the way through the video trying to process how each of the subsequent assertions support that initial claim, and wondering when that thread would be picked back up again to link pesticides back to that psychologist, before I realize that none of the assertions are connected, and the psychologist would never be mentioned again: for some reason, I was expecting a well-structured argument for an over-arching theme or single cause for "why Americans are such dummies", rather than just expecting a half-hour collection of examples of things - many of them conspiracy theories - that CZcamsr thinks are good examples of dumb Americans, and wants to vent about, or pat himself on the back about, or whatever he gets out of this.
"Hey, here's another reason you dummies are such dumb dummies: there was a Red Scare, and that's stupid, you stupid dummies who thought commies were conspiring against you... there was a Red Scare, and you got scared of learning that other countries exist, which makes you really dumb! Ha ha!" What? Of course that's not really expanded on. If you go back to look at US public school textbooks from the 1950s, you find that quite a bit of space used to be dedicated to teaching American students about things like foreign cultures and principal products of various countries and how other governments work and how they differ from the US federal system and how the US federal system and so on... and that didn't suddenly stop in the 1950s, much the same thing was still being taught in American public schools up to the 1970s and early '80s, at which point even more emphasis got placed on "social studies", and then "multicultural studies", and so on, to the exclusion of almost any subject other than drug and sex education, at which point American public schools became little more than a vehicle for teaching American students that American culture was terrible and wrong and should be replaced by pretty much any and every alien culture that could be promoted by the schools, after which point I graduated, and time rolled on through the "No Child Left Behind" era and then the eras of STEM skills and "portfolios" and whatever the hell happened to education from there that resulted in the next couple generations of students not just being woefully ignorant about American culture and having a distorted view of the Stunning-and-Braveness of foreign cultures, but also being unable to find a single country or even continent on a map, unable to name their own state, unable to perform basic mathematical calculations, unable to solve verbal logic problems, and all the other goofy things you see in those man-on-the-street TikTok videos about how stupid those dumb American dummies are, because, you know, TikTok videos are a great way to illustrate "why Americans are so dumb", while simultaneously watching TikTok videos is also a reason "why Americans are so dumb"!
In other words, from where I'm standing, it looks to me like one of the reasons "why Americans are so dumb" is far more reasonably explained by a failure of the education system, and the failure of the American public education system isn't in being scared to teach Americans about communism - quite to the contrary, American public school teachers absolutely LOVE to teach American students all about communism, and have done so for as long as I've been alive! - but rather because there's something utterly dysfunctional about the American public education model and its incentives, standards, goals, and purpose: it's a system that is not particularly good at teaching students to think critically or to encourage self-education or really learning about anything at all beyond a fistful of pet projects for the system's administration and political leadership, and in fact it is a system that benefits more from discouraging critical thinking, individuality, questions, exploration, autonomy, or any of the other qualities that can encourage a student to look beyond whatever the hell a teacher shovels out in safe, predigested bites to prepare for passing standardized tests to keep the funding coming.
But, don't worry: we'll skip past the education system and not mention it at all as one reason - an especially obvious one - for why those bid dumb American idiots never learned anything, and assert instead that a far more important reason "why Americans are so dumb" is that estrogen turns American men into sissy girls, and you know how WOMEN are, am I right guys? Especially estrogen-pumped American trans women: what a bunch of dumb trans American sissy girl dummies, that's why Americans are so dumb! And I guess it's also turning the frickin' frogs gay... why not? What the hell am I listening to again, some sort of alt-right misogynist transphobic propaganda? I think the CZcamsr responsible for this video needs to go back to school and learn more trans-inclusive and feminist American public education, because the assertion that estrogen is "why Americans are so dumb" sounds kind of, you know, "dumb"....

TRUTH. Been a while since I've read something so true on social media.
I believe this is intentionally being done to split men and women, so that they can profit off of our suffering from not loving each other anymore, like weve always have.
They do this by media consumption, they create false narratives on both sides (the word "sides" is even ridiculous in the first place...), they turn men into right wing, and women into left wing.
This way, they can make us disagree with each other about anything, in order to split the foundations of our society, which is family. Im guessing there is some sort of war approaching, possibly from China, so they use reality perception as a weapon against the enemy.
They do this through tiktok mainly, and its so popular that it influences 99% of other social media. This way, they can push idealogies on us with what they intentionally show us through the algorithm, and split western societies apart, by especially attacking mainly america, as its culture is like a disease spreading to the rest of europe through media.

I visited Prague and Hamburg on a vacation not too long ago. When I was there my sleep schedule was immaculate, I never felt tired, and the food was great. Back in the US, all of that was undone. It just seems so much easier to live healthily there than it does here

As a Mexican living with his bare feet on the dirt, it is really alien to me the concept of going to a super market every week. My father, who was born an urbanite from the capital, always goes to the local supermarket in his car while buying most essentials that aren't sold in bulk from the regular market that opens each sunday in near town square. The main reason is that for anything food related supermarkets are barely any more useful than just going to any shop from around town. Sure, their schedule is way more convenient, but last time I went to a Walmart I came looking for a simple broom. They didn't had any lying around. Not only that, but even the average super here is mostly focused on low prices rather than any convenience, even though a lot of people in the know prefer to buy stuff from a dedicated store as they have a higher level of quality since they only serve one single kind of item.
I say this because the amount of processed trash that is found in the average super market things is appalling. My aunt works in quality control serving numerous food chains and factories and the stories that she told us about processed foods would wreck havoc on anyone's stomach. The unsanitary conditions, the lack of proper testing in terms of health issues caused by excessive amounts of preservatives, awful storage practices and the exorbitant quantities of artificial flavours, colours and essences really drives home the message that processed food is in reality closer to hard drugs sold by the mob than it is to a decent way of combating hunger.
How does one become a person with bare feet in the dirt? Because I can't seem to find the answer anywhere. I guess you were born in that situation? I would love to live like that. I hate everything about modern society and wish to live a peaceful or at least primitive life.

Not just America, but most western countries. I started seeing the shift as early as 2008 when I was going to college. Coincidentally during those times I also started seeing the shift of college from education to indoctrination.

The most devastating thing you can do to young men and boys is convince them they shouldn’t have any responsibilities, duties, or expectations.
I have 6 children as a 40 year old man. I run an electrical contractor business and train new apprentices (nearly all men), and I even take on younger brothers periodically. All I have to do is give them responsibilities (no matter how minor) and then DEMAND they meet those expectations. First you’ll get petty rebellion and resentment, testing to see how committed I am. Then suddenly it’s what I call “fuck you” mode. This is when they’re going to do what I demand, but better than I do it or faster, etc. This is the proof that they are worth my time.
Once you get this, you’ve got a good man. I’ve had many of my previous apprentices tell me later that they hated me and then wanted to show me up. Then they realized it was what I wanted them to do all along. The path opened up for them.
Several of them moved up in my company, run work crews or estimate jobs. One became a state inspector. One of big brother kids just graduated with a mechanical engineering degree last June. Another started a mechanic’s garage; he just opened his fourth location last month and has 45 employees.
Demand they are responsible. In goes a punk boy, and out comes a good man.
But what if someone doesn't want fucking 6 children or even one? I can be responsiable and go into the career that im passionate about.

22 here, my best friends and I get together and play sports about once a week, we have formed a great community amongst ourselves. Its really helped me pull out of depression. Also have a band and playing at bars is great, community and social interaction is really the most important aspect of life.

Rewriting former comment. While in college outside of Chicago, had to take a Human Resources class about diversity and sexual harassment. This was in '92. Had a bi-racial prof, very nice lady who set up a 9 woman panel to discuss sxl harassment. 1/3 of the class was male. They all walked out and said they wanted their chance to speak at the end of the class. The prof, to her credit, allowed it. Most of the executive level, highly educated women (lawyers, docs, etc.) were black. They talked about their harassment at the hands of usually white men throughout their careers. At the end, the men walked in the room and were allowed to tell of their own horror stories of sxl harassment by women. They were truly as bad as what we just heard from women. The point being, is that white men in particular were targeted here as the main trouble in the workforce - that they need to be eradicated from positions of power. I can't think enough about how beautiful the world was before the first iPhone released back in 2007. It kinda started going downhill from there. Nowadays 2024, everytime we go into the city by subway, everywhere we see people not talking, usually on their phones. It all just makes me cry. Children having the newest $1000 iPhone in their hands watching some disgusting shit on CZcams and T*kT*k. When I was young I didn't even think about any of that, I went out after school to play or hang-out with my friends and or family sometimes. It was just such a simple and beautiful utopia of people going outside, being happy, doing stuff, talking, travelling, having fun, and something what I rarely see today is: enjoying the moment TOGETHER. That's what we are missing, being together. Everyone nowadays is kinda like in their own little bubble. And I can't tell you enough how bad and damaging that is. Humans are "social" creatures. We need each other. But the world and humanity has gone so far down the shitter, that in my opinion, we will never see the pre-internet days of the world ever again (90s, 00s). No wonder everyone like me is so depressed. Nothing will ever be the same :( Makes me so sad to think about. South Park describes it perfect in their Post-Covid special.

I deleted all social media 3 months ago and my productivity is through the roof. Every task i complete brings me more happiness than any instagram thot ever did, i quit processed food, got jacked and enjoy the sun every now and then. Best decision of my life.

For the record, this practically goes for any social media. If you have a reddit account, twitter account or facebook account and you use it for other reasons than keeping in touch with friends, family and your work you are better off deleting the account and only interact with the platforms on occasion without getting invested. The healthiest people are the ones that only use the internet to care to their interests and don't get involved in pointless drama, stressful discussions or get absorbed by world news. You are but one person and can only affect your immediate surroundings. You have a responsibility to be aware of what happens in the world but no more. Put more energy into your local area, your local politics etc.

If you live in the USA, do NOT drink tap water. Dont even use it for ice cubes or cooking unless it will be boiled. Worst water you can get. Specific water filtration systems are a must, hooked up at the main so the entire house is filtered. If you cannot afford this, brita, boil, and bottled water...i know, more plastic, but a poland spring is better than my tap. Another good option is buying a water dispensing unit that comes with a 3 stage filtration plus charcoal. Basicaly takes out fluoride and most harmless chemicals while most minerals are NOT stripped.
