I like how I just accepted that German boyfriend is like one of those cartoon characters whose face is never revealed. I no longer feel the curiosity to know what he looks like. In fact I think that in the unlikely event that his face is revealed, the universe will suffer a rip in the space time continuum.
I actually just took an art class last Friday and had dinner with my boyfriends mom. I love his parents so much. They're genuinely good people. And I love bread and almost every time I visit, his dad has a loaf of bread waiting for me. 😂
I love it! My husband loves my family. I used to work Saturdays and after work, I would call him to find out where he was, we were just dating at the time, but often he was at my family's house. He then would invite me to my own parent's home I grew up in! 🤣 I always said if we ever broke up, my family would probably disown me and adopt him. I couldn't even stop by without my parents or sisters asking where he or my dog were! 🤣
My parents would be the same way if me and my boyfriend fought, and I love that honestly because he is the love of my life and my parents adore him. There is too much toxicity between in-laws and their children's spouses and I love to see others having good relationships with in laws

My work place has sushi and Ms. Rose is a very lovely Asian lady legit walked around shoving a piece of apple in everyone mouth and I legit thought to myself “YES I MADE IT SHE LOVES ME SHE GAVE ME FRUIT”

Honestly this is truly a wonderful sign of a great family. I remember a video when she was visiting home and talking about trying to imagine what it would be like having kids so far from her family. But she still has family close by. ❤
I feel so identified because I also live in my husband's country (I'm foreign), so my family is far away but his family has treated me like another member with so much love and support that when I don't feel okay I know I have a family here.
