I never really knew how big of an organized industry fencing was! I always thought that everyone just built fences the same we we did, either do it ourselves and figure it out, or hire "handyman" types to just help stretch wire and such. But THESE dudes are what I consider to be true craftsman, those fences are TIGHT!! and STRAIGHT!! I was always proud of the fences we built with my grandpa, and how he got them razors edge straight for hundreds and hundreds of feet was beyond me but we weren't doing anything like what these guys are doing. SRF these fence videos are probably some of my favorite because I just didnt know there was this much professionalism in fence building and its cool to learn about.

Like that brace. That's bracing not new, but improved upon. When I grew up on the farm. All the old farms with pasture fencing had bracing similiar to that. Replaced alot like that and had no metal fasteners. Seen one that was with wooden dowel fasteners
Alot of fun for us idiots that install fence.
Think this video to should be to shown to all customers who haggle price Lol

Just watched the video again. Want to install 2000+ feet of goat/sheep fencing. When I search for solutions, it seems that only members of the extended Haney clan ("Green Acres") slither out of the landscape.

Good stuff Josh! I enjoy these types of video's....very educational! I am curious though why they cut the dead man off....it exposes the cut surface to moisture so I would think it would not last as long. Or maybe, it is dependent on soil type too. I definitely see what I did wrong on my own fence through the soft ground....We have trouble with corner posts coming out of ground with the pressure of the wire...an H brace does not keep it in ground either but thinking maybe the dead man may....dunno. I even have a line where the frost keeps spitting the posts out....we all have our challenges eh! And on a side note.... just a funny...what's a compeditor?? lol.

None of them are near my property in FL or NC☹️ It took me a year to find someone to build me a gate in FL. One square frame with a cow panel. There is a shortage of capable carpenters. I’d love to see all my wood projects done someday. Most young men that Look at the projects barely make it through the first, then don’t return. The last man wasn’t too young that did the gate, great work, but the next project on the second day he was to install four post into the ground to build a simple trellis like monkey bars, for my late mother’s plants to grow on over a bench seat. I came outside to see how it was going, he was putting concrete in holes with his hands. His face was smeared up with it, like a mask. It was around his hair, eyes, neck and in his mouth. I asked him if he wanted to wash it off or needed a towel, he said no he likes eating it. I had all the tools there but he decided not to use them at all. He finally went for lunch but never came back. My neighbors have to look at the top that was never squared off. 😬 there is excess 2x4 that he never cut to complete a simple top frame. I’m sure all the railing boards that I bought are curled up by now. I can’t wait to get back and hopefully get things finished. Then turn around and get my late mom’s cabin finished. Those fence men were all winners! Hard workers!
