I LOVE my Ventrac too! It literally does ANYTHING I need it to do. I have a big JD tractor too. I use it for the really BIG jobs, like mowing, moving hay...but most jobs are accomplished with the Ventrac. I have four attachments for it. I want a couple more.

Traveling from Las Vegas to WV, KY and that area to look for our retirement property on 9 Nov. Retiring for the second time and looking for our dream property and looking forward to your lifestyle. I feel you on the price of the natives. I planted 25 acres and ended up paying like $3000 for seed. I planted the grass mix along with a pollinator mix.
Place is looking sweet ! Have you ever considered getting a Rock-hound attachment for your skidsteer, you could eliminate some of the attachments you have for getting a prepared seedbed. One pass with a Rock-hound and it's done. Thumbs up, you deserve a giant steak, just no carbs. That's the hard part !

I use permethrin concentrate and dilute it for any biting bugs like that. 3 incidents of chiggers in a week done it in for me but now no more!

Curious how you manage to get multiple pieces of equipment to the other side farm and back by yourself. Maybe you need to ride the mountain bike back to retrieve the ‘next’ piece of equipment. Easy to strap the bike to the ROPs for temporary transport.

So winter is is quickly starting to set in. Are you keeping your cows on the farm over the winter or are you going to board them? Cattle really tear up the ground in a very short time during the winter month's.

I was gaining weight like crazy and active as all hell, I eventually had to cut sugar as my blood glucose level was too damn high and I started losing weight. now I'm not diabetic, but I still keep away from the sugar because I like losing weight with no real additional effort!

Correct, still upper 60s and low 70s here in the foothills of NC. But that should be changing in the next 2-3 weeks when we will get our first heavy frost and maybe freeze. So I'm still overseeding as well and timing it with the rain. Probably about 4-5 more days to get results and then shut it down for the winter.

Do you think that using the fertiliser spreader to spread the seed would be okay, and then go over with the tractor (or ventrak with all those wheels)? The seed spreader looks costly and I'm thinking of an economical way to spread seed. I've sown grass seed before and just raked it over.

Yep all 3 ponds are stocked
Try breaking your meals up into smaller more frequent meals so your body doesnt go into " starvation mode". Starvation mode happens when you have a habit of waiting too long between meals. Some people go into starvation mode easier than others. The 50 lbs may not even be a quantity issue, it may be a timing thing, sometimes timing is everything.

I’m sorry Josh I want to watch your videos but I don’t have 30 mins to watch the whole video at one time and usually if I can’t finish it at one time I forget to finish it lol....I’m only speaking for myself here but I’d love to see more videos around the 10-15 minute mark, that’d be great but I understand if you don’t want to do that. Josh, if chiggers are on ya and need relief instead of taking a shower take a bath instead and put some rubbing alcohol in the water with ya and chiggers be gone.

@@aideningram434 great or dumb, it works. if you ever get infested with what seems like about a thousand chiggers or seed ticks on your legs while in the woods, it beats itching for a couple of days or possibly catching lyme disease or some other disease that ticks carry. a cup or so of rubbing alcohol in ones bath water shouldn't hurt the skin but rather clean the pores.
you work waaay to hard to gain 50 lbs. diet change my friend, like Stephen Cobcroft said. Eat well, but eat smart. Cut as much sugar out of your diet as possible, jack up your water consumption, and you're already busy enough to be burning calories all day. I love beer, but good gawd, it doesn't help.
