How To Use The BAVauto® Wheel installation Alignment Tool
Make Wheel Installation a Breeze!
We've all been there; struggling with a heavy wheel and tire assembly, trying to line up the hub hole and the lug bolt holes, then holding it in place while threading in a lug bolt.
The BAVauto® Wheel Alignment Tool makes this task infinitely easier. Simply screw the tool into one of the lug bolt holes on the wheel hub / brake rotor, position it at 12-O'clock and lift the wheel and align one of the lug holes with the alignment tool ..... then slip the wheel on over the hub flange. Unlike other tools that just slip into the lug hole .... and fall out as you try to get the wheel over the tool .... the BAVauto tool threads securely into the lug bolt hole.
The tools are available in all of the common BMW and MINI lug bolt sizes:
12mm x 1.50
14mm x 1.25
14mm x 1.50
Whether you're installing track tires on a 2002 or installing a space saver spare tire (on the side of the road) on your 328i or X5, the wheel alignment tool will prevent additional frustration in getting the task completed.

Love the idea, but not the price. Similar set of 2 "I would think you need two for a faster mounting" is sold for $17 shipped from Amazon.

Save your back, use one of these, unless of course you have a friend waiting to spin on the lug bolt while you hold up the wheel in the correct place.

@@mikeprice8307 My wheels are heavy and it takes 2 hands to lift them up. I then run out of hands to screw in the wheel bolts while lifting up the wheel. My BMW wheel hubs don't have studs sticking out to hang the wheel on. I can I screw in the alignment tool (about 4 inches long) into one hole and now I have something to hang the wheel on while I screw in the regular wheel bolts.

@@beyondrepair8949 thank you. I had later found a vid of a Mercedes mechanic that exhibited such. I didn't know wheel studs like that even existed. It's like wheel stud and nut all in one. Weird.
