Sir, we would like to see you in many more Malayalam films. Your role in 'Kilukkam' was spectacular and very memorable. Although your character had intimidating scary scenes, it also had some funny combo scenes with JAGATHY sir and watching those scenes no matter how many times, of your character shaking his character down for answers, stomping him, and putting him time and time again in hospital bed, makes us all laugh till we drop to the floor.
It's sad that Jagathy sir is in no condition currently to act (after his car accident) and we miss him a lot. He is a legend, and we love him for his amazing comedy performances. But watching those comedy scenes, especially your scene with Jagathy sir, reminds us of those good old days, and to me personally it gives me the break and comic relief, from the stresses in life.
Btw sir, I agree that it is always best when film industries let North Indian actors to say lines in their own language (or then voice over with that regional language in post production), because that lets the actor give his 100% and not let the language barrier hold them down. In earlier days, directors had the sense to do that. Now, most of them want the actors to speak in Tamil or Telugu or Malayalam, which is so nonsensical...no wonder we don't get that impact the yesteryear films had.
HOPEFULLY WE GET TO SEE YOU IN GOOD ROLES again in South Indian films. I'll definitely watch those films.
    With ❤️

I greatly admire the film industry, because it is perhaps the only industry where success and failure cannot be determined or predicted. After such hard work, the project can fly, or can go down the drain. The reward is that the project is preserved. Sometimes, the movies which didn't do well, become cult classic later. Hats off to all those who work in the film industry, in whatever capacity!👍

He speaks straight from his heart. It is difficult to see such straightforward people nowadays.
I was mesmerized and hung on to every word that he spoke as it was spoken with grace, dignity for others and above all he commended other movie artists. "Indian camera men are one of the finest in the world". Heart warming and only a true gentleman could say those words. My warmest wishes to Shri Saxena for a life ahead filled with good health and peace.

What a delightful Interview, brought back the 80s and the 90s to us! The first memories of him are as "Daga" in Mr India. In malayalam, there was Aryan as a villain. Guess kilukkam put him into the mollywood hall of fame , later nirnayam, thenmavin kombath etc. In kilukkam, he has over time become a character people love, though he was the main antagonist. Imagine recalling people like cameraman J williams. largely forgotten by the malayalam audiences even. Thank you sharat sir, for being a part of our childhood years, & continuing to entertain us over the decades.
