We Telugu people love his performances and encouraged him. His first Telugu movie is Gandeevam in 1994 as Inspector role with senior hero ANR (Nagarjuna's father) and Balakrishna. After 1999 Sarfarosh hit, he acted his 2nd Telugu movie Manoharam in 2000 that got 4 state awards as ISI mole in India. Next few years he ruled Telugu film industry as a popular lead villian big blockbuster movies of top young and senior heroes. His performance in award winning blockbuster movies Narasimha Naidu with Balakrishna hero in 2001 and Indra with hero Chiranjeevi in 2002 was amazing. I saw Narasimha Naidu in a cinema hall in Anantapur in 2001. In 2003 his role as strict police officer and father of hero Mahesh Babu role in Okkadu movie was amazing, another blockbuster that made Mahesh superstar. In the same year hw acted in another Telugu industry blockbuster Simhadri directed by Rajamouli with NTR Jr hero, his villian role was outstanding. In 2003 he acted well in two other big movies one is a hit Seethayya with Harikrishna (Balakrishna's elder brother and father NTR Jr) and flop Palnati Brahmanayadu with Balakrishna. His performance was amazing in the 2005 hit Telugu movie Bunny with hero Allu Arjun who got his nick name from fans as Bunny. He did amazing role in 2008 hit Telugu movie Jalsa with hero Pawan Kalyan, also in 2009 hit movie Arya 2 with Allu Arjun, 2010 Telugu hit movies Shambo Shiv Shambo, Darling and Brindavanam where he did hero's father roles with comedy in contrast to his serious villian roles earlier. Then directors used his talent in other roles well. Then comes hit Telugu movies in 2013 Baadshah, Attarintiki Daredi, in 2014 Race Gurram, Loukyam. From then on he started to get smaller roles but with high impact as his screen presence is strong

Mukesh Rishi is well remembered by Telugu film fans despite him not knowing the language. He is not just a villain, he has done very nice supporting roles in many movies. That is the beauty of India - no barriers, unity in diversity. Telugu people won't force anyone to learn Telugu to be together. Language is just a powerful convenience made for communication and is an identity but that doesn't mean we can't live without forcing it on others. Telugu is the biggest Dravidian language by number of speakers and every Telugu family knows Mukesh Rishi from Indra, Narasimhanaidu, Okkadu, Simhadri, Jalsa etc.

His height, physique, dialogue delivery, voice, expressions and a talent for easily playing a positive or negative character, with the same conviction make him outstanding. When I was younger, I used to think that he was the younger brother of Akshay Kumar because of the resemblance lol. This is by far the best interview clip I've seen on this channel.
