this gave me mixed feelings...seeing Peaches Geldof talk about her mother and the coal miners...we've been through some rough times as people but what strikes me as consistent is how we, the people, get misled and redirected through pointless media like this. When we're young it feels rebellious but 40 years later...what's changed?? Not much, other than the complete rot of the family unit, community spirit, a destroyed national identity, continued and still increasing unemployment along with new things like mental health problems, drug addictions and so on. Peaches mother and father weren't great which ultimately led to Peaches killing herself with a drugs overdose. Theses are not the people we should've been looking to improve our lives. They made us party...short term it was fun...long term it changed nothing and the lack of attention from the young generation at the time only allowed the corruption to grow larger. Very similar to the 60's and the 70's. we get treated like slaves in this society because we act like slaves. I hope in the generations to come rebelling will equate to reading, learning and coming together to rid our country of the corrupt businesses and politicians that only serve to make our lives even harder. we are working ourselves into extinction with AI so time is running out...
