- JURY VERDICT: After a little over 5 hours of deliberation, the jury found Defendant Christopher Gregor GUILTY of killing his 6-year-old son hours after the child's mother dropped him off at the defendant's home. The child's mother says Corey Micciolo was happy and healthy when she left him with Gregor. Breanna Micciolo says she filed several reports of abuse against the Defendant, including an order for emergency custody just days before Corey died. Among the reports of abuse, Gregor allegedly forced Corey to run on a treadmill at high speeds, causing the boy to fall repeatedly.

It was murder. But it has to be finely defined to stick. Was it premeditated? Was it an attack with intent to kill? Was the defendant aware of what COULD HAPPEN? ( GREGOR was an airhead. No common sense when dealing with a young child and their physical limitations. Mr C Macho man was only aware of HIS AUTHORITY, HIS POWER, HIS NEED TO CONTROL. .)

I can assure you (being in a LE family myself) that any disgust you think you can read on the parents' faces are feelings of disgust toward the behavior of their son. Most police officers have made many arrests involving domestic violence and it is something they view with disdain. The fact that this involved the death of their grandson due to the cruelty of a son they have no doubt raised to respect and follow the laws, but for whatever the reason, took out his anger on this boy to the point of causing his death, would be the hardest thing possible for a member of law enforcement. I can tell you that father knew what the verdict would be when he heard the jury was back. There was no surprise for him. He can only torture himself for the rest of his life wondering what he could have done different and what signs he missed in raising Chris. It is a bitter pill to swallow. There are absolutely no winners here.

I hope that Corey's Mom sues the police department for not saving Corey after she informed them that his father was abusing him.
I would say she has a pretty good chance now of suing the child protection services thats for sure.
Breanna's father has made statements. It wasn't just Bre making the statements. I believe Christopher's dad used his police ties to play games that gave his son the opportunity to keep abusing Corey.

Hello at least some justice ⚖️ for LITTLE ANGEL and his Mom! Both counts have a first degree penalty because it result in death. So hopefully combine the judge sentence is the max 50 years. We have the video showing the abuse. They did not at the time. The mom had a bad history with drugs. I can see how the emergency order was denied. With that said, cps knows better than to question a child in front of the abuser. I am sure he suffered by the hands of that man the second cps left

theres claims corey was abused long before chris came along, thats what they were referring to in the objection to the prosecutors slide that said he was the only one to abuse him, which is just heartbreaking what this little boy went through literally his entire life
The state prosecutors ( the ladies ) look so disappointed 😢 but they did a fantastic job and was very professional unlike the horrible and sneaky defense attorney , truly justice for Corey ❤❤
And to think in the beginning he tried blaming the Mom, he thought he was so much better than her. I have to pray not to have evil thoughts of evil wishes for him. Justice is needed though.
So glad he was found guilty. He is guilty! We all could see it. That little man had no chance with this monster for a father. Little Corey, what a strong little man he had to be, to keep the secrets he was too afraid to say. Was he told by his father that to say anything would lead to worse for him or for someone he loved? Also Corey got back on that machine so many times, without crying or saying no, he knew he couldn’t show emotion. How impossible for a small child. What was done to him was abuses on every level.
I hope this is only the start of people taking child abuse seriously. Record what you see, call the police, and report. Give your information and volunteer to testify to what you saw so child abuse like this "teaching him to be a man" stops.

I believe he had all the intend of causing the death of the child, He hated having to pay child support and having the responsibility of a child. He thought he could get away with Murder, unfortunately, he did.
@@deusdedidplumey9426 I don't believe he was paying child support. He had taken full custody of Corey a couple of years ago & his mother had been fighting through the courts to get him back. The guy is a big douche bag, for sure, but I don't think he had intended to kill his son. He definitely knew when it was far too late, that he went too far & his son could & did wind up dying, which is why he screwed. The jury got this one right, it was definitely aggravated manslaughter. Had he been convicted of murder, it's highly likely it would have been overturned on appeal because it would have been a verdict based on emotion as opposed to the evidence. That is how his attorney defended this case, knowing it was highly likely there would be a conviction & preparing for the worst case scenario for an appeal.

When I watched the video of the gym. At the very start corey gets onto the second treadmill of the gym, but chris tells him to swap treadmill onto the one furthest away.
I believe, that Christopher Gregor thought the Camera doesn't reach that far.

I so agree with the jury here. Corey deserves justice. The video is damning and the autopsy revealed heartbreaking evidence of what this child endured. I believe this man shaking his head is in denial and believes he had done nothing wrong! Child welfare and the police doing the welfare check failed this boy.

I really liked that judge, he had a no nonsense approach and stayed level headed during the whole trial. The defendent's lawyer's approach of being pushy, aggressive and animated with everything he said in court and to the prosecution's witnesses didn't make a difference to the jurors, they did their jobs and found him guilty. Much respect to the jurors, this was not an easy case to sit through. RIP Corey, you are loved and remembered ❤

Can someone tell me if they are going to add years for endangerment plus aggrevated manslaughter? He should get the maximum for both, as who knows how many other times that we he abused Corey behind closed doors. He is a narcissist whose abuse caused death..

max is 40 years if the judge chooses to run them consecutively, most do, but he would be eligible for parole after serving 85% of whatever he gets i believe

So sad that they used the corey’s mother past 💊 abuse and tried to blame it on her…She cleaned herself to be a better mother to her son just to loose it so soon on the hands of that monster! I can’t imagine her mind going over and over what she could’ve done to avoid what happened to her baby. But the sadness is that she knew she has to go through that useless protocol of going to CPS to get Corey safe… No one listened to her… CPS and the police that took the complaint are also very guilty of this crime.
