This reminds me of an incident when I was a child. I think perhaps one of 2 things happens, A: a pusher denies it so strongly when they get in trouble that it overwrites the memory of pushing or B: a tripper in the confusion and pain misinterprets their lost footing as a force from behind, thereafter remembering it as a push. I find option B more likely as a pusher would be firmly aware of their guilt during the row while a tripper needn't erase memories and simply needs to be confused/disoriented (such as from tripping over)

@@hk78901 I mean if we're going for the first giveaway that it was going to be a mock trial rather than any real legal proceedings I'd be torn between the fact it was clearly not a justiciable issue and that no court would sit for a case that the defendant doesn't even know about yet 😅

This reminds me of an incident when I was a child. I think perhaps one of 2 things happens, A: a pusher denies it so strongly when they get in trouble that it overwrites the memory of pushing or B: a tripper in the confusion and pain misinterprets their lost footing as a force from behind, thereafter remembering it as a push.
I find option B more likely as a pusher would be firmly aware of their guilt during the row while a tripper needn't erase memories and simply needs to be confused/disoriented (such as from tripping over)
Its sad how many people think this is real.
