I had someone like that, she moved away a while ago.
Pessimistic 30-year old with a chronic disease that hated the world.
She would lay on the couch, peek between her plants and keep track of everything and everyone coming in and out the communal gate. Now, if that was all, it would be fine, but she also registered what and who they were, and would blurt out the details during neighbourhood-meetings. She loved the look of shock on my face.
"Right, you didn't go out to purchase anything, but a lady came to your door and brought you something though. It was a big package, something feathery was inside. Oh, a feather-scarf? Why was she getting rid of that and why were you going to use it?
And that other package? ... The other one, the red one..with the cross on it. The one that was brought to your house on Tuesday...
That was the Christmas-one from your penpal, wasn't it? You mentioned you were busy getting her one, so I suppose, given the fact that it was DHL and you hardly ever shop online, it must've been your penpal.
... seemed heavy. He walked very carefully as well, the postman. Was it glass? There must've been Christmas-baubles inside, am I right? Oh, I'm not right? Oh, you want me to stop talking? Oh, well, I'll stop talking then.
"I mean, sorry, didn't mean to make you upset or something. Or embarrassed. If I wanted to, I would've mentioned how silly you looked, carrying those 3 bags of groceries up the stairs while loudly telling yourself 'come on, I can do this' and then leaving your key in the bicycle-lock and having to go back around midnight to see if it's still there. That was a relief, wasn't it, that it was still there- wait are you leaving?" *door slams*

In my past work I got injured. I did not know it but they had them follow me. Creepy enough with pictures inside my house and doctors appointments and everything.
What surprised me too was they had gotten access to one of my social media accounts. Later on since the service logs activity I found out way later and was able to implement the password keeper.
I think the freaky thing was reading their report before setting up for trial. It's actually really surprising how little things you do can be used against you. If you're injured they basically expect you to be at home or in bed 24/7.
If you are not they will make everything as damning as possible. I cannot say more than that. But when Max talked about the "lovely look" it's exactly what I mean. It's taken out of context.
Side note before you ask. I was not ever found to be faking anything. But here in itself is the rub. You have to accommodate for these people who assume you are guilty before proving you are innocent.
    Very screwed up imo

More polite, and better video titles and thumbnails. Mr. Beast's video titles _always_ trigger the "that's stupid" part of my brain, but Max Fish doesn't, for some reason.

@@mrm9561 I'm Dutch and we've got quite a shitty cabinet right now, politics-wise.
Many people are unknowlingly being tracked down and monitored, for being from a foreign country or for being on benefits.
Some people on benefits (that fall in love with each other) also get private investigators at their houses, to check if they aren't spending too much time together. They aren't allowed to sleep in the same house more than twice a week (or something like that) because otherwise, technically, it could be considered living together and then they are recieving home-rent-benefits for the other one and could TECHNICALLY rent that to someone else.
Living together however, cuts down on both benefits, so that's no option. It's either staying single or having 2 days of bliss together and then back to your own house.
I know someone that's done that for a few years and it was messed up seeing her not-being-able to visit her boyfriend, knowing very well she really needed to. She lost her mom, she lost her former boyfriend, she is mentally ill, she deserves someone to hold onto at night and help with the bad dreams and the anxiety-attacks. Not just twice a night and also not at the cost of her entire benefits.

    • @Widdekuu91
      @Widdekuu91 Před 2 lety +9

@@mrm9561 Positive thing though, she recently decided that she was going to go for it and gave up her benefits for him. They now have to (as we say) bite on a little stick together and have barely anything, but they áre together and there's a foodbank nearby that is allowed to give them some extra's (we aren't, by law. It could cost them the benefits and give them a huge fine. Shitty, shitty cabinet.)

@@bluedaybae8393 I have the same thing, but my microphone is supposed to be off.
However, I'm reading the same online and I'm also experiencing it myself.
I've started to keep track of it, writing it down and the thing is, I álso get advertisements for things that are in the frame of the camerashutter.
Like some brand of biscuits that are on the table or tissues when I've just finished crying about something. I have now put a blocking device on them (both my webcams) and I put my phone in my bag whenever I can.
I've been called paranoid by a few, but they're slowly noticing it too. Advertisements for chocolate after they finish a conflict-conversation with a friend or advertisements for mascara after they concluded theirs is finished.

More money to be made working for people who really want to dig up dirt on someone. Someone hiring for themselves cause it would be fun would be easy money but not solid money as its 100% only gonna last as long as the person wants, if you want actual dirt...it may take more then a month to get the dirt you want which means more money.

This is bloody WILD to see, I do often wonder how much would you recognise seeing a random person twice. Surely we pass the same people every day, without knowing.
Growing up we once met the same family, totally randomly on the same flight to and from Heathrow to Cyprus, two years in a row. And we both lived right by each other in both places, lifes full of crazy things you'd probably never know. This is funny but blimey it's a bit scary for £60 an hour!

I wonder if the private investigator also has moral doubts about certain things sometimes.
Imagine someone came up to him and it was not a joke, or a spouse that knew her husband was cheating and needed the closure, but it was a man wanting to stalk a woman, specifically knowing where she walks around at night or maybe..asks to get a hold of her trashbag.
Would the PI do this..or would he have mixed feelings and not do it?

There are a lot of grey area's in this, especially if you only rely on half of the story on who-broke-up with who and why, and whether or not this is a stalking situation or a revenge thing or..youknow.

They're not one of the more common and well known companies on the circuit here in the UK.
With their main head office in Milan I'd assume they sourced the work out through sub-contractors who work the UK circuit - working for different companies as and when the work comes in.
Most PI companies don't have guys working on PAYE basis.
