Teleportation is overrated

- Imma say that this opinion is not what I now think but this was like a long time ago. Maybe not the worst but clearly too much to be regarded to be more than it deserves.

What are they gonna do, catch me? I can teleport.
This is just assuming that you can accidentaly teleport someplace else. I'm not sure why
Optimal teleport without divine intervention or the ability to scry:
1. It needs to open a physical portal that can't be in an area of dramatically higher pressure and has to expand large enough to go through before the teleport can commence. The portal will fail if there is no nearby denser material to anchor it against. Basically you can teleport to the bottom of a swimming pool or even the middle of a swimming pool, but you can't accidentally teleport to the bottom of the ocean, inside solid rock, into space, or into open sky.
2. The physical portal is one way, and is not subject to sending anything that doesn't get dragged along with your body through. For example, air pressure won't go through the portal, and people on the other side can't teleport the other way with it.
3. Because things must be physically dragged with your body, that means you never accidentally do things like excavate a crater, rip someone's hand off, fail to teleport the object you're carrying, or leave your clothes behind, or leave your stomach contents behind.
4. If the portal is summoned inside a solid object or under deep water, it simply cannot be summoned. If it is summoned inside air or vacuum without a sufficient anchor to hold the weight of the portal and you you attempt to go through, the portal exit will fall under your weight until it finds something that can anchor and support it.
5. Handling kinetic and potential energy, momentum, and gravitational fields is done mostly by altering the shape of the traversal space and creating smoothing friction of the exit and entrance portals with their environment and the user traversing through them.
You know must superpower get implied safeties for their powers. Super Strength need some super endurance so you don't tear your muscles apart, ice powers needs ice resistance so you don't freeze your own fingers off, super flight comes with super land, speed comes with a speed force barrier from particles ripping you to shreds, freeze time comes with you move in frozen time and unfreeze time. lol no need to over complicate things
That's why I will always choose air bending, like flying, summoning clouds and tornado, heck I can push people a few meter away.

also a problem. the target moves in two different ways: it rotates and moves through space so if you mess up your aim you end in space.

Basically you just need exact coordinates to teleport safely, so as long as you have internet access you can always safely teleport

theres actually one realy good form of teleportation: across object teleportation or with other words: the ability to walk through walls. its actually the power that doorman from the X-men franchise has. its just that the way it works in his case makes it look useless even thou it makes it easier to hide.

Teleport inside the wall? Well, wouldn't you always teleport in place of something? Air Is also a material just floating and less dense. But who knows what those tiny things can do if react with your insides
teleporting is obviously not the best, it is cool though, the ability to rob banks, enter houses and getaway with ease. The power of teleportation is more suited for doing bad things as teleportation is not very useful as a hero. Also you might not actually be able to teleport into a wall or something. Teleportation is regulated by how the power is like so you might not actually teleport into a wall.
Well, you can start an import/export business which could be worth BILLIONS. Buy things from cheapest places in the world and sell it to the most expensive places of the world with HUGE profits.
Live in cheap city and earn in expensive city. It doenst get better than that. Do you know how much time people spend on traveling? You know how much time you could save???
This ability is PRICELESS
or you can just steal things you need by teleporting into stores at night and back out
yea how do they teleport 👎 i think best would be saying it out loud or having some kinda device to do so, otherwise just imagining it is dangerous as hell
