If your controller won't turn on in safe mode it means that you are not using the original USB cable that came with your PS4, if you don't have it you can try other ones but they may or may not work. Legit think Sony is just fucking people over my system was completely fine 4/5 days ago now I can’t play gta or 76 even know nothing is corrupted I’ve deleted/ reinstall both games I’ve rebuilt database rebuilt licenses nothing works. Find it odd how everyone is getting this problem around the same time tho legit just gonna get a Xbox at this point.
Every game on my PS4 including disk games and downloaded games work flawlessly. Call Of Duty WARZONE worked perfect up until about a week ago. The game loads up and then turns off with the error code (CE-30005-8)
I’ve reset the PS4 to factory, everything I can think of and still get the same issue on this download only. I’ve even downloaded different games and have no issues with them. Just WARZONE....Any ideas????
Yo basically when I downloaded warzone for the first time, it was so big that it corrupted all my data and my only choice was to buy another hard drive to play my disks

so I deleted my red dead redemption 2 and then I try to redownload it and it would get to like 90% on the data disk and then would skip to 4 seconds and freeze and come up with an “X” and would say error cannot start CE-30005 or something like that
Edit: somehow it fixed itself
Every 10 minutes while it downloaded I’d give it a good clean and put it back in and it worked

Had this problem with black ops 4 for 3 months . Step one : Delete whatever game is having the issue . Step Two : go to save date on you’re ps4 storage and delete all save data corrupted or not corrupted for that specific game and if u ps plus delete the save data from ur online ps plus storage also. Step Three : put ps4 in safe mode and rebuild data base . Step Four : renew games licenses. And download the game again and give it a go .

My PS4 has this problem only with discs, it will spin and stop and occasionally re-elect and pull it back in to say unrecognized disc. But sometimes it does recognize it, i start it and i get the CE- 30005-8 error. Is this a Disc Drive problem???

sounds like your DVD drive on your PS4 is going bad, your options are buy the digital version of the game, replace your DVD drive, or just buy a new PS4.

What if ur game doesn’t show up on saved data and when u factory reset your PlayStation it’s still not there?
Login with your PSN account, go to the Playstation Store and redownload it, you shouldn't get charged for it if you own it already.

What if you don’t have a disc you have the game downloaded
Then skip the first fix in the video and try the 2nd and 3rd fixes.

Brother_Ti_hotep ah yes let me eject the game I brought off the ps store. It’s mostly to do with the system hard drive.
Brother_Ti_hotep doesn’t work for everyone my disc has 0 scratches pretty much looks new and I still can’t play. Think it’s just a system bug people are getting hopefully will be fixed soon.
Delete your memory for cod and then cod initialize system to rebuild your system
