Yes it is and I can say that as a female who is attracted to other females. Women are beautiful but we are tough and we are strong and powerful. We have to unite because we are all sisters. We are not just sexy bodies for people to wonder about because we are hidden in modest dress, we are the product or hundreds of people who have fallen in love generation on generation until we had our beautiful births! We must stand together!

People have grown so arrogant and narcissistic that they view this correction as hateful judgement, hence why they hate Jesus. People don't like correction, they only want praise bc they have a grandiose god-complex. "The wounds of a friend are better than the kisses of an enemy." It didn't sit right with me how Sabrina Carpenter was called out for filming the video clip of one of her songs in a church, and she basically didn't care and said, " Jesus was a Carpenter ". This is so disrespectful because Jesus is a part of so MANY RELIGIONS, and people were hyping her up in the comments, saying that what she did was " iconic ". Can't support or listen to her anymore because one , I'm Christian, and two , she lacks basic respect for a religion that she doesn't believe in, which is a no-no personally for me. As a Muslim we don’t mock Christian’s. You are the people who inherited the Gospels and believed in Jesus as mentioned in the Quran.
This video was new information for me. But this comment section is a testament to us Muslims sharing the disgust. We’ve lived as neighbours with Christian’s here in the Middle East. In Egypt every church is next door to a mosque as symbolism for the relationship. And here in the Middle East if the church is full we host Christian’s in our prayer spaces to pray and if the mosque is full they host us in their church, and give us a place to pray.
I don’t know how Christianity is expressed in the West but I think it has been wrongly labelled as a religion only “right wing white people” believe in so people in the West need to vocalise their disapproval.

I was deeply involved in New Age witchcraft, astrology, tarot, balancing chakras, manifesting, crystals, dreamcatchers, ancestral worship and much more for 3 years as an attempt to end my depression but it only made things much worse. I was addicted to pornography, depressed and suicidal. I began hearing voices telling me to harm myself and I would get sleep paralysis regularly. I would have violent thoughts and I hated God. My whole fyp on TikTok randomly switched to Christian content right before I had decided to end my life and I gave my life to Christ. The love I experience is unexplainable and even though it is not an easy journey I wouldn't change it for the world. I ended my porn addiction in a week and never went back. I am no longer am suicidal and depressed. Despite how you may feel, Jesus loves you and you are not too far gone for him. this is coming from a fellow believer but, i think the problem with Christianity is a lot deeper than people who are practicing Christians can understand. the way that Christianity is practiced through organized religion currently creates a space for hate and judgment that is completely unfair and not even true to the word of the Bible. because of this, many people have grown up with a lot of trauma surrounding Christianity, and this religious trauma is not true for many other religions because of the way that those religions are practiced. since Christianity is the primary religion that is practiced here in the United States, the media that we consume contains a lot of people that have previously had religious trauma that just happens to be Christian religious trauma. what they are doing in the media is their way of expressing their trauma and experiences through art since they are artists. there are many creators who are religious like Jewish or Muslim that do not choose to constantly recite religious text to their audience because they know that not everybody follows that religion so it is forceful and uncomfortable for people who are not of that religion to be preached to. seems personal because of how people react to the Bible verse at the beginning of the video and it’s also personal because Christians that are practicing are the ones that get offended by people who are “mocking” christianity that are trying to come to terms with trauma that they have endured throughout their lives. there are a lot of art themes and displays that are seen as offensive for many people which is why we can make the choice to consume it or not.

Maybe an alternative observation here I've made as to why mocking Christianity is seen as okay compared to other religions...
In more recent times, I think I've noticed how Christianity is often seen as a western religion and therefore is often equated with whiteness or generally being middle class e.g. the whole WASP culture in the US. Which, especially in a post-BLM era, has been seen as more problematic.
Every religion has its own sets of issues for whatever reason, but somehow to me it feels like Christianity is easier to hate on because it's seen as "white man's religion".
I say this as someone who was introduced to Christianity in a non-western country with no white people directly involved whatsoever. And I emphasise on the word 'directly' because I'm aware of the fact that it was colonisers who carried Christianity into my birth country - but I also understand that this religion started off as an eastern religion that merely spread throughout Europe, which got used as a tool for colonisation later on

If I didn't already believe there was a trend to mock/distort Christianity in the media, this video would definitely encourage me to rethink my stance (or obliviousness). I think it's also quite telling that the viewers objecting to the points raised are only appealing to the trauma/hypocrisy (especially historical, as if to say we deserve to be maligned forever) associated with Christian individuals, with few people actually making nuanced points against the religion itself. I’m so glad someone is talking about this. In the eyes of so many people, it’s always disrespectful to make fun of someone unless they’re a Christian. It’s so bad. I mean, you know it’s terrible when you grow up as a Christian, (and believe it yourself, not forced into it) you are ACTIVELY WARNED that you will most likely be horribly disrespected or worse. It absolutely burns me up to see my faith that I value above anything else in my life trampled upon by these people who get nothing but praise from the public. Like, hello?? You’re right when you say that no one would let any of this slide if it was toward Buddhist, Muslim, or Islamic beliefs. I mean, if you have even a little decency, you know this is not okay

I am a practicing Catholic born and raised in Los Angeles…I rarely bring up my faith because of how people treat me afterward. These are the same people said they “looked up” to how I lived my life, bruh it was Jesus who taught me to be charitable and kind. 😂

it's so refreshing to see someone with a following come to the defense of Christianity! what gets me the most is the fervent sexualization of Christian themes and imagery... just so weird 😭 and the same people who participate in that are the ones saying "respect all religions"... i guess the "except Christianity" is silent 🥴

My boyfriend brought this up in conversation. I was raised Christian and I believe in a God but I do my best to understand why people have God in their lives. I think people mock Christians due to multiple factors such as eduction, the trauma they experienced being beat into Christianity by family members, and the lack of solidarity between Christian denominations. The lack of uniformity on how to peacefully agree on the belief is very confusing because no one knows which version of Christianity is best. I have heard Hebrew Isrealites say that regular Christians don’t practice Christianity correctly because they don’t worship God on Saturdays. I’ve heard Jehovah’s Witnesses say that Christians don’t teach the word and apply the teachings to today’s world. I’ve heard Luterans say that Catholics should not be asking to confess their sins or pay money to anyone to do so. Now, there’s a Queen James Bible that is rewritten to conform to LGBTQ community (and I don’t have anything against them either) but basically people can’t take it seriously because Christians can sit in the same room and argue if we should follow the Old Testament and the New Testament. Its very controversial. From the outside looking in, I see Muslims practice their faith strictly so I see less mockery in faiths where people worship in a very structured way. Of course Buddhist, Hindus, etc won’t be mocked as much because from what everyone can see, there is a unified way to believe. They won’t argue about how to interpret the Qu’Ran or argue about what times of day to pray. They won’t question if the old testament told them to eat pork or not, they just don’t eat it. So I think thats why people feel comfortable because the combination of so many versions of the bible being written, so many arguments on what scriptures mean, so many inconsistencies that cause confusion amongst Christians. Thats my take. Again, I believe in the Most High God, I believe a man was a descendant of God and that he died because human beings couldn’t handle such a wonderful person, but I also feel that so many people have made this a very difficult first choice because some people really want the structure of religion . I know I looked around for something to help me cultivate a lifestyle and I feel other religions do better in that regard unfortunately

You are absolutely right. There are so many sects of Christianity. I grew up in the COGIC church, which is essentially a much more conservative Baptist church. I was taught the Holy Trinity God the Father, Son, Holy Spirit.
Its crazy how i can go to a Lutheran church and have NO IDEA whats going on. Like is this even the same book??
There are so many splits within the faith. Catholic or Protestant, Baptist or Lutheran. Black church or white church. Its insane theres no unity and so much separation on purpose.

I think if anything, the lack of unity between denominations stem from a lack of understanding of the actual fundamental beliefs of Christianity. The important stuff. Nowhere in the Bible does it say black and white that women can/can't be preachers. Or that babies can/can't get baptised. Issues that have caused the divisions between denominations.
People forget how their denomination or their pastor or priest or even the church they attend ain't gonna save them. Only God can. And people defend their own little sect of Christianity as if it can.

@@capribryantI remember searching around when I was younger within Christianity. I grew up in Apostolic church and within my own family, my grandma was a baptist so we never went to church together as a family. I went to see how some Mega Baptist churches looked down on the poor and broken when we learn in the Bible Jesus was among the poorest and most broken people in society. But somehow, they looked down on them. I went to Luteran church and they sang hymnals and take communion every Sunday, only to learn from Jehovah’s Witnesses only a certain few are chosen to take communion and there’s an Elder hierarchy. But the more I think of it, maybe the division was the plan all along so that less people believe because what I have been saying is the Bible is no longer a prophecy, it was a plan. The whole book of Revelations is basically how the Book The New World Order is written. So in my opinion, to rip people away from a spiritual path is a way for people to succumb to capitalism, lack of compassion, lack of empathy, confusion and conceit. Again, I just feel religion if practiced correctly and strictly should be done right. And stop with the “I’m a sinner.” Bs because my whole life I seen people make poor choices but excuse it with being a sinner and the flesh being weak. I have witnessed the lack of respect people also have for Christians who do this because if Jesus already died for your sins, why condemn others but then go on to excuse your behavior with being weak? But then say, we were made in his image… meaning Christ Consciousness can be achieved. So people ask questions like that too and often times, its just a cyclical conversation. I was on Clubhouse and I heard a thread on Why are people leaving the Church? And the thread is LONG. That thread is of people arguing as Christians on what to believe. So if there is no universal understanding of God and how to get closer to him, that leaves a lot of space for atheists, or non Christians to prove their point

When the early church had been established (Catholicsm hadn’t even existed then) and they had to deal with the gnostics who sometimes claimed to be Christian but mixed up their own pagan theology with it. So not all “denominations “ of Christianity are accurate. The devil always creates his own versions.
