MBTI shows very little. I can twist those answers to a specific way to show something very different from my personality . If u want to know person , see his/her actions . Other way, put your words parallel with your actions. Words are meaningless.

@@yooohann cause when you are feeling angry u can answer one way. Conversely, when you are in a good mood and feeling mellow your answers are different. Can't you get it?.The best way to get to know person is through actions, period, to end of thr story.

Is it because in SK people are not used to "small-talk", therefore they are very uncomfortable "sensing" other peoples' personalities? Also, the education system is very black & white, so it really does not develop critical thinking... so people are a bit "lost" when it comes to discovering other peoples' personalities. Oh, and I forgot one other thing: people really have different ways of interacting with other people who have different age, different geographical, socio-cultural background, etc... What do you think?

It's interesting they're only into the 16personalities test and not actual MBTI which is centered around cognitive functions versus whether you're a nice, loving F or a philosophical T.

MBTI isn’t centered around Cognitive Functions. That’s a branched off form of typology within the MBTI community. The same is true about the Enneagram System. People take Cognitive Functions way too seriously and in the end it’s not even all that accurate. Cause if it actually was, then I would stop seeing celebrities/characters be labeled as 3 or 4 different types

@@TylenOneal239 i think people in the mbti community refer to both dichotomies and cognitive functions (specifically the grant stack) as 'mbti' simply because its easier. its like we've sort of created a new form, an amalgamation of multiple theories and names. cognitive functions can be accurate, but the problem is there is no set definition of them for people to grasp, and a shaky understanding possessed by people within the community, or just overall not knowing how functions can manifest in reality. thats why mistypes run rampant, and i try to type characters myself using my own understanding of the functions.

The argument of “MBTI isn’t reliable bc it doesn’t work for me” discounts the opinions of those who thinks it works for them. Have you ever considered that you just took the assessment wrong? Maybe self reflect and do it again. Food for thought :)

I’ve been diagnosed with ADHD and Asperger’s Syndrome which are actual labels and am kinda a misfit. Finding out my MBTI INFJ/P made me realize there’s nothing wrong with me and they’re not labels. Korea and various Asian & non-Asian countries have degrees of conformity so I’m so glad people are becoming aware of personality types.

I would never disclose my MBTI type in Korea, because I think Koreans look down upon my type, ENTJ. Noone would want me as a worker, bcs they know I would be bossy and would be threatened by me wanting to take their place. I mean even in the West, people take my personality hard, I cannot imagine what Koreans would think. :D Oh and I am also an AB bloodtype. HAHA
