I Got a Personal Color Analysis In Korea And It Changed My Life.

- HEY GUYS I finally got a professional color analysis done in Korea. I've always been curious about which colors I'd look best in, so I decided to give it a try. The consultation was straightforward to say the least, but don't worry I have thick skin from my asian mother telling me I get fatter every time I see her. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and now I have to go revamp my wardrobe.
If you've ever had a color analysis done yourself, I'd love to hear about your experience in the comments below! And don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more content like this.
Thank you for watching!

It also depends on how you want people to perceive you. For me you look pretty cool and more sophisticated in Winter range, a bit more contrast and black.
I agree, it felt like youthfulness was the only parameter, or at least the most highly regarded one. It's good information but i personally loved the darker cool tones on her, and black.
Please stfu ur the type of typical biased garbage that thinks all poc/Asians are winters. Shut ur trap u ppl annoy me.
@@anatiel2118Please stfu ur the type of typical biased garbage that thinks all poc/Asians are winters. Shut ur trap u ppl annoy me.
Definitely depends on the country's beauty standards. I feel like the muted spring colors suited her very well for Korean style fashion. High contrast colors like deep Winters would look amazing on her but that bold look would be more appreciated somewhere like the US
i think this is the first color analysis where i totally see what she is saying!!! sometimes when they do alllll of the shades of blue/green/red all at once i can't see it but here she breaks it up and i can really tell!
to me, you immediately looked better in the cool colors. this is pretty cool!
The lady was correct! You look good in muted/ soft summer colors. You could also borrow some colors from soft autumn (the cooler ones) - the ones towards the end of the drapes for soft autumn. Soft autumn is your sister season.
You could also use winter colors if you want to look dramatic or fierce. I think a bold red lip & reddish/ burgundy dress would look good on you. You remind me of another Asian model (forgot her name). I think your angular face would look good with "fierce" makeup.
Btw, if you want to change hair color, I think you can go for mahogany (deep brown) or burgundy (it has purple tones), since those are both cool toned. Don't go for chestnut, honey brown or auburn since those are warm toned.
All of the cool colors look lovely on you, and I loved hearing her thoughts. That said, I felt like the summer made you more washed out, whereas the more vivid/icy winter colors made you “pop”. I would try other winter colors. The high contrast actually looked great on you 🤷♀️

Wow these seems so overwhelming ! But she gave so much detailed information that it looked valuable too. 😅
Yes definitely was super helpful! And the girl was super nice 😊
I think color analysis should also have to do with personality and take that into consideration. Obviously she is bold, funny, and not afraid of showing up. So she should wear bolder colors like winter or fall, and she should do high contrast to accentuate everything about her. She will feel more true to herself and confident in her own skin.
I don’t think this color analyst took in who she really was on CZcams and in life.
Yes she should absolutely wear black for a sassy and classy look. Keep wearing gold too, it is great for a bright fun personality like hers!
And she doesn’t have a “peanut or cucumber” face. She has a gorgeous face.😊
I love her voice omg, it's like unintentional asmr❤
I really like how she showed the different effects the colors had on you. In all honesty, you def can “chose your vibe” and what you want to show off with how you play with the colors with all of that information. As many mentioned- there is a cultural component of what the idea beauty standards are at play. Have fun with color!!!
Ridiculous . Never heard about peanut cucumber shape being a serious flaw . Without any bias, you have a pretty and natural youthful face. Be careful when you’re in Asia dun believe 100% what they say. They love saying any flaw you have , make you panic and then make you buy their products or packages or do plastic surgery. The problem is that everyone is infected with k beauty standard it’s minute details that are not that important but analyzed microscopically and blown out of proportion. It’s pervasive and creating more anxiety for nothing. Just enjoy life and the ppl who appreciate who you are.
Wow chill dude
Honestly, I disagree with this one. You're definitely cool-toned, that's true, but based on how severely your skin reacts to warm colors, I'd say you're fully cool (Soft Summer is neutral-cool). I can't really see the low contrast either... I'd love to see you in some Cool Summer and Cool Winter colors for comparison, you seem to have medium/medium-high contrast. In this color analysis, we mostly saw either very light and soft colors, or very dark and intense colors, not much in-between.
I have noticed that most Korean color analysts like putting most people in muted, light colors for some reason...
Agree. From watching a few color analysis sessions by korean analysts, they frequently people as summers and springs, especially light or soft, even when it doesn't fit. Rather than value colors that harmonise, they value light and girly colors (which are also the predominant trend in korean makeup).
Please stfu ur the type of typical biased garbage that thinks all poc/Asians are winters. Shut ur trap u ppl annoy me. You want us to be monolith so bad huh?
Or or, maybe since they're both Asian/poc she isnt prone to see ppl in a biased monolith lense and can see the subtle difference in her coloring
I feel like it depends on what cultural beauty standards you're trying to match on which ones looks best. Like I feel like the peanut face shape has prominent cheek bones which a lot of western countries like, whereas in Korea, this more smooth oval face is preferred. The higher contrast tones made you look more beautiful in western beauty standards and the lower contrast ones more with Eastern standards. Both nice, just different!
That's a really cool thing to note and have in mind!
Omg I can’t with the gold and silver 😭 such a difference. Thanks for sharing your experience.
Right?! Truly eye opening LOL
What a lovely summer! 💜
I don’t agree with her when she told you have a low contrast. By your features you seem to be a medium/high contrast cool winter transitioning to Summer.
Me too. I thought the same

This was a great colour analysis session. And she is so right about thay lavender on you. 💚
I could never handle someone saying I have a "bad" face shape in that way.... T^T
So good!! She was sweet and very professional. The cool colours on you make you look like a fairy. They look great!!
she looks way better with the high contrast and bold colours in my opinion. Obviously Korean beauty standards don't match mine... I mean she is a young and young looking girl, why would she wants to look younger at this age?
Teddy Blake has some gorgeous handbags. Lovely 🥰
Omg when I saw he start I was shocked but she was actually so nice!!
You have a beautiful face and bone structure!
You are a winter girl 🙏… the best ❤❤❤❤❤
You might want to consider a second opinion from a different country with different aesthetic trends, or minimally consider trying winter colors. You seem to be able to handle a good level of depth of colors and look good in black based on your other videos! Imo there's not alot of harmony bw the soft summer drapes used and you - the colors are too high in value and muted in chroma for you.
Please stfu ur the type of typical biased garbage that thinks all poc/Asians are winters. Shut ur trap u ppl annoy me. You want us to be monolith so bad huh? And wdym "different country" just say white. You want her to be analyzed by a white person that are known to be biased vs someone that can actually see the subtle differences because there both poc
Oh my gosh, she’s such a good big sister!
loved the lady
She is a sweetheart ❤
Yayy new video update! The teddy blake purse is super cute and your reaction to the colour analysis was so funny 😂 excited to see more adventures you get up to in Korea
Thanks for your support! I greatly value and appreciate your feedback.
Second video I watched from your channel. Subscribing!
Congratulations!
Regarding the color analysis, I agree with most of the colors.
BUT I do like those that emphasize your facial features. Your jawline and cheekbones are gorgeous. And freckles are cute! ❤
She looks sooo nice !! I saved the place forn next time I go to Seoul ❤
Congrats on your first PR! Love your videos. 🤗
Awee thank you so much, this is the sweetest!
She’s good!
She didnt show you bright or cool winter colors, just the dark winter ones. I would try some of those
Agree. Something doesnt feel very fitting about the soft summer palette shown here. She looks like she could handle more color depth and saturation.

Love your videos! 😍
Thanks for sharing! I’m also an Asian summer mute.
Nice video! The lady is super adorable!
I wish I could get my colors done, but thats a bit far…
Haha thank you! and there might be options in your surrounding area! It's popular in big cities like New York and LA!
@@Foreveryc97 Im from Germany and Id be incredibly surprised if we had such a cool shop.
But I get to experience it with your video, so its fine. :)
Blue is totally your color btw, just like black.
Keep wearing what makes you happy!
Edit: Nvm, I just checked and apparently Germany does have color analysis shops!
I am indeed flabbergasted.
I wish i got analysis from her , she is super professional
She's great
Oh wow, that was like watching my opposite. I went in to mine having always been told I was cool toned (pale=cool right?), so thought I'd be a summer... And then she did the gold/silver test and I just went "oh no!" before she even said anything. 😂
There should be a way for people getting into this to connect and make swaps. Might have made it easier to switch out my jewelry at least.
(Btw, if you really love black, you can still wear it! Knowing your season is more about knowing how certain shades affect you, so black could help you look more severe if you want to look like a boss a** b*tch, or you could adjust your makeup to soften how the black increases your contrast, like with a lighter concealer where the shadows fall on your cheeks. Reverse contour I guess? Also, from the chest down, you don't have to be so strict, it's just around the face really. Though since you're a muted season, you probably want to keep low contrast throughout your outfit, or it could end up looking like your clothes are wearing you, instead of the other way around. So like, only wearing a solid black bottom if you're wearing a darker, neutral top, or otherwise keeping black confined to accessories? But those are just suggestions! This is your style journey to figure out for yourself!)
Wow she really laid it into you HAHAHA but yay congrats on getting your first PR piece!
Haha thanks fam!
Hmmm.... the charcoal and the dark Navy.... It looks great on you.
And I would burn that lavender....
What package did you get for the color analysis?
DAMN this lady savage XD
I think you're lovely! subbed.
sauuur pretty cat 🐰💗
What's the problem with looking more 'yellow'? I think you look gorgeous with gold and more alive ❤
i’m a summer mute too and ash brown should be okay for hair :)
She's so sweet ❤
Right?!
@@Foreveryc97 yes and you got exactly what u came for 🙏
Do you have the channel for the analysis lady? I like her
It's "color society" in Korea. Link is in the description area.
actually bright✨ colours pastels also Suits you its just that.. When you wear dark your face is focused. so if you makeup it would not be a problem.. Pastels suit you babe!
Style like balancing out the light with a scarf or accessory which is dark.

I honestly need this amount of bluntness in order to understand color theory.
The fat shaming is outta hand..
Heyy! Not sure if you remember me but it’s Prep, back when you used to stream… What happened to Vancouver? Moving across the world must be scary. What happened to streaming? You stopped all of a sudden, you should start again 🙏🙏 What are you doing in Korea? How’s it going overall? ❤❤
Hahah of course I remember you Prep! Yeah a lot has changed since then, I'm teaching english here! how are you doing these days?
Am I the only one who felt the consultant's judgement was subjective and arbitrary? LOL I happen to think she looked amazing in autumn colors
No, she's definitely cool tone. She looks yellow with warm colors
i think the reason for this is because temperature of the skin doesn't affect her as much as the chroma does. a lot of the autumn colors were muted but they definitely made her look more yellow.
if she had been swathed with the other autumn or spring swatches, i think you'd be able to see how warm colors don't suit her
She told her at the end that her second best was soft autumn colors, her analysis was good 👌
No, she was really good. Sometimes we can't figure out why something looks bad on us and she was able to explain to her the reasons. She was so good
I think the analyst was correct. She looks good in muted summer colors. She can borrow from winter if she wants to look fierce/ dramatic and can also borrow some soft autumn colors (esp those end drapes from soft autumn).
❤
9:25 I disagree - unlike Muted Summer, you looked radiant in Light Summer. Your eyes were popping
I see pale, not radiant or even bright. I feel little bit unmatch
How manye inches is the bag?
9!
Girl you look so good ❤
I love the shape of your face, your cheeks and your eyes 😻
You have a very beautiful face, if a cucumber was just like you I would hug them all day long 😂
Between am a woman, please don't come after me.
I love her face and her smile is 🏆.
I actually think winter suited her best. The others made her look washed out and dampened her whole presence.
Please stfu ur the type of typical biased garbage that thinks all poc/Asians are winters. Shut ur trap u ppl annoy me. You want us to be monolith so bad huh?
I thought winter looked good too. Maybe it's the difference between western and Korean aesthetics? Western likes high contrast and definition, I particularly noticed what she said about not wanting to see the shape of the cheekbones, that's the opposite of what western make-up tries to achieve.
I literally wish that you don’t quit your job…..but whatever your content was good
This is a gross oversimplification of what works best for you. Your outfit depends on so many other factors such as fabric, style, pairing etc to serve a certain look. I personally think your dark hair, eyebrows, and eye color makes you suitable for high contrast tops. Your face has some angular lines (high and pronounced cheeks) which means you can rock a sharper look! Some Asians do prefer a "softer" look, but I think your face and personality can carry out a fiercer look. Not to mention, aesthetic trends and preferences are constantly changing. At the end of the day, outfits are an expression of who we are and how we're feeling. So I wouldn't put sooo much weight on the results of this analysis.
Agree!
Personally i don't think outfits are a expression of anything 'cause i just use whatever clothe that is clean😅. (That's why i would pay a service like this)
But somehow i understand your point, everyone is different.👍🏻
@@BiancaC-ov8ko curious... why pay for a service to tell you what to wear if you're just gonna wear that's clean? what if what you were told to wear is already dirty?
@@tingpan4898 In my case, I would pay for that service because although I only use what is clean, I would like to know what colors look good on me, they also give you recommendations for clothing models. I would like to dress well because I consider that I wear very simple clothes, although that is because idk how to combine clothing styles 😅.
and I like Korean fashion so I would accept the suggestion of a Korean color analyst. Also, if, as you say, the clothes that the analyst told me to wear are dirty, I would use another of his/her recommendations.
In my case, I have a lot of clothes accumulated over several years. They are clothes that I don't like but I keep wearing them because I'm too lazy to buy new ones since it takes me 3 hours to choose a shirt, so if someone gave me some suggestions on what colors to choose and what models to use, my life would be easier😊
Please stfu ur the type of typical biased garbage that thinks all poc/Asians are winters. Shut ur trap u ppl annoy me. You want us to be monolith so bad huh?
Creepy
The Bible says every good and perfect gift is from above. God put her in a better place than before. Jesus is King
Sorry, but the consultant is too subjective and cares more about the soft image that is preferred for women in Asia. She is not a summer. Too weak. She has a beautiful face and bone structure. And just because Koreans are obsessed with a certain beauty type doesn't mean that this can be applied arbitrarily. Her remarks only made the client insecure. Not cool. Koreans are very blunt, I don't like that.
your facial structure doesn’t change your color season or undertones though lol she def looks better in cool soft colors
Most asians are pretty blunt
@AP - She looks better with the cool, muted colors. She's not an autumn or winter. Winter colors were too strong for her.
As for bluntness, watch more Korean analysis vids - they're all blunt. (Some say: you look like a drowned cat, you look like you've been in the rain for 3 hours, etc) If you can't handle it, don't go to Korea.
Lmao you ain't paying her to coddle you but to tell you the truth through her trained eye. If you want coddling go to your mom.
@@kitty_s23456She’s definitely cool toned so I don’t think Autumn should necessarily be the secondary, but I agree winter looks a bit too harsh. She most likely muted summer as primary with cool/true summer as the secondary.
I love this woman 🥹 i wanne grab drinks with her aswell!!
You almost convinced me to visit Korea for colour analysis 🫠 and the lady was so sweet 💗
Haha why not! And yesss she was the nicest! 🙂
