A world of a difference getting the top back up. This accessory has saved my marriage, lol. Lifting the top from the fully down position is now able to be done with one person, just one hand. My wife and I would get mad because we weren't lifting at the same time, the top would get twisted, the frame would scratch the roll bar. No more of that, the wife can sit in the truck and I can do it myself with one hand now. 🙏👍
This is such an amazing product. I bought a used bronco and it was missing the arm to hold the trunk open so I just got this instead. Instead took maybe 15-20 minutes max and not I can actually use my trunk
I’ve had these on my Bronco since they came out and I’ve had issues with my top and both times they blamed these. I know it wasn’t these but those bastards fought me all the way and finally gave in and gave me a new top after calling this company. They did tell me if I ever have another problem with my top and I have these on, I’m on my own, they will do nothing.
I installed using the video instructions (watch a step, pause, do the step, repeat...😂 Would have appreciated a PDF with words AND pictures; my brain apparently works slowly.....er, differently). When I tested the operation after completion, I gouged the hell out of the passenger side roll bar paint (never scratched it maneuvering the top without the kit, so I'm a little upset with the down-to-the-metal paint gouge). Does this indicate that I did something wrong with the install or do you think there might be something pulling the top towards the driver's side? Either way, suggestions to fix it? I'm afraid to put the top up now for fear that I'll keep digging into the paint. 🥺 (Shoulda put the paint protection film I also ordered on first, but I don't think it would have changed anything... Sumbish is DEEP...)
The 23+ model has a redesigned, heavier soft top frame. The heavier top prevents the system from lifting all the way. We are currently updating the kits to work with the 23+ models and expect to release them soon.
Bought on from Amazon and installed it on my new 2024 soft top Big Bend. There is was some difficulty aligning the driver side bracket but it got it done. The trunk opens slow and I have to assist it up. Not sure what the issue is
That part at the beginning, there’s no instruction on what to do if we find them not in contact. One of my passengers side dowels is not in contact with the soft top mechanism
Tried to open my top all the way after installation and now the top snaps itself back to half way while driving. It was not really locking before I took off but I thought it finally clicked in place. Hit a small bump and it slammed back to the half way position. What can possibly cause this?
It does sound like something may not be latched correctly. The latches on the soft top are adjustable. If you would like to reach out to our tech team at support@iagperformance.com they can help walk you through it!
The front dowel should be seated fully on the slot cut in the bracket as shown at the :30 mark in the video. So you will want to loosen the 3 bolts slightly and push down on the top to seat the dowel before tightening the bolts back up.
Does it matter if I accidentally connected the thicker end of the hydraulic arms to the bottom? Just rewatched this and saw he connected the other way…
I'm sure it matters some what, not sure how much though. It's easy to get them off. Look at the end of the shock, at each end where the pivot ball goes in. The back side will have a black metal U clamp. Use a small flat head screwdriver, pry it away from the shock, don't need to remove it, 1/4" will do. Then pull the shock off the pivot ball.
Thank you for the great video and amazing product. I just installed this and wow, it’s exactly what Ford should’ve included originally. Perfection!
Just installed this. Night and day difference. So much easier to lift to close and keeps back propped up for an added bonus. Nice work IAG!
Thanks for your support!

Glad we could help! Haha happy wife happy life!
Just installed, works awesome so far! Good product guys.
Great to hear! Thank you
Outstanding video. Extremely thorough!

Just ordered this kit, and I don't even have my Bronco yet. Should be here in a week or two, if Ford's shipping info is to be believed. Can't wait!

Will this fit the 24my?
Great product! Why was this not included with the factory soft top?
Your site says this kit will not fit on the 2023 models. Is this correct? If so what’s different on the 23 vs the 22?
The 23+ model has a redesigned, heavier soft top frame. The heavier top prevents the system from lifting all the way. We are currently updating the kits to work with the 23+ models and expect to release them soon.
Any promos or discount codes available?
Not at this time but we should have something soon!

When will you post a other video about the 22 wrx

Any issues if I want to completely remove the entire soft top from the Bronco after installation of these struts?
Nope, the struts are attached to the soft top frame, so they will go with the soft top when you take it off.
What does "fully in contact with centering and leveling dowel" mean exactly?
Mine is about 1/4" above the front dowel.
The front dowel should be seated fully on the slot cut in the bracket as shown at the :30 mark in the video. So you will want to loosen the 3 bolts slightly and push down on the top to seat the dowel before tightening the bolts back up.
@@patfeher Thanks! That may explain the issue I've had with the top slightly scraping the D pillar.

It depends on the kit that you have. Between our V1 and V2 the struts are different so they require a different installation.
@@theiagchannel What is different about the V2 struts?
Bought your system. It’s very nice but no instructions.
Thanks Rodger! The QR code inside the box will lead you to our instructions page and this video.
Tried this and the mount on the driver side or “left” bracket does not align Worth shit..
