Yes, this song is about the state of Humanity and as always AG! Kills it. I am so excited to be going to their Tour stop in Toronto next month! AG! is such an interesting group because they don't just use the lyrics to convey the message of their songs. They use everything. The musical composition of their songs, the instruments, and of course the choreography are all parts of the whole that is really unique. But I guess that is what happens when you have 4 young ladies who are only in their early to mid 20's but all of them have been performing professionally for 10 to 15 years individually and AG! have been together for 8 years already. So young, yet they have 50+ years of combined experience. The talent runs deep. It's not easy playing with multiple genres of music and dance styles while still maintaining a kind of AG! signature style. One of the more out of the norm aspects of this particular routine is that Rin is the one who lifts up Suzuka onto her shoulders. It is usually Kannon that does the lifts in most songs. But I suppose since Kannon shares her name with the female Japanese Buddha the song draws some of its themes from she needs to be the focus more often in this routine.

One or two formations/stances are to mimic 人間, (ningen) the kanji for human/humanity

Ack! That cut was abrupt.. I love the hand/arm spins(?) they do in this one. And the song itself has this "lull you into calm feel" then Suzuka Blasts it out.

The title Maningen translates to "an honest citizen" or "a good man"

If you've any interest in a group that does a *lot* of stuff like the movements at 3:15 , interlocking limbs acting like parts of a big machine, I highly recommend the all men japanese group World Order.

I like the song Maningen "Humanity" and it's criticism of social media and people who live on their keyboards; a cute bit of the dance is where AG mime typing. It's a call for us all to be better. However, the dance video is poorly directed with its constant zooming in and out it cuts a lot of the dance out of the frame.

I think Japanese in general dance with their hands more than other places. For example, Anochan czcams.com/video/Jjzbr_73ifc/video.html . It's actually more uncommon for Japanese dancers to move their bodies as energetically as AG or Korean dancers do. Speaking of Korean dancers, if you could check out RIIZE, Siren and tell me if they are amazing dancers, or just using good cinematography. It's a short preview video for a song they haven't released yet.

I think you should have just finished the video without sound. After an explanation of why we're not hearing the song. Then add subtitles to the best of your recollection.
Thai women are famous hand dancers. Indians also.
