    Thank you so much. I have been a member of the Lord's Church for 58 years and many times people seemed afraid to teach Revelations. I will watch your class also.

    My grandfather Darrell Conley has some great notes on Revelation if you're curious to read them I could email them to you. I mentioned a few things from his notes in another comment. They are very detailed and thorough.

    I recommend the book "As a Lamb Slain" by Floyd I. Stanley, written by a brother in Christ after about 50 years of study. It presents a unique perspective on the book of Revelation. Might be hard to find now that Mr. Stanley has passed, but worth the effort if you can find it.

    What is more plausible: That the Holy Spirit would finish the Bible with a prophecy about Christ's return, (which it actually flat-out says it is) or that the Holy Spirit would finish the Bible with a code-based, impossible to understand allegory about the circumstances of the Church 1900 years ago? This is just dumb...it presupposes that the Bible was uninspired.

    As far as His second coming, read: Mt. 25:1-13, Jn. 14:1-3, 1Cor:15:23-28, 1Thes.4:13-18, and etc.
    He will come back sometime in our future.

    Question for ya... to me it seems clear in mat10:23, mat16:28, mat24:34, and mat26:64 the son of man comes in thier lifetime. Then you said in revelation the son of man came in judgement of rome.
    So the question is, where does scripture teach the coming of the son of man in our (us today) future? Most teach this doctrine from mathew or revelation. And if you don’t agree your dead to me!
    Lol j/k. I appreciate your input.

    After reading Ken Gentry's book on Revelation, even the Domitian date doesn't make sense. Nero's persecution was worse and it was spurned on by the Jews. Revelation is about judging Rome and Jerusalem for disbelief and persecuting the church. Nero did demand to be worshiped. part of his title was Augustus. He forced those in the empire to say Caesar is Lord.
    I agree with you guys on pretty much everything else. I came out of a lifetime in premillenial dispensationalism. it's a doctrine that destroys peoples lives.

    Didn’t first century Christians worship on Saturday???

    • @Obad87
      @Obad87 Před rokem +5

      Old testament Jews worshipped on the Sabbath or Saturday as we know it. However Christ arose on Sunday the first day of the week. So under the New Testament Christians have always worshipped on the first day of the week instead of the last.
      Acts 20:7 KJV
      And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.

      Acts 20:7 KJV
      And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.
      Sunday was the day the disciples (Christians) came together to break bread. The Lord's supper. Paul also preaches. This is the day of worship. There is no other day given in the new testament to worship other than Sunday.

      WHEN DOES A DAY START WITH THE ISRAELITES , WHO IS IN A COVENANT WITH THE GOD OF ISRAEL ?
      AT SUNDOWN ; GO BACK TO GENESIS CHAPTER ONE .
      THE DISCIPLES MET AT SUNDOWN , WHICH IS THE START OF THE DAY ( FIRST DAY ) ; THEN CONTINUED UNTIL MIDNIGHT .
      LEVITICS 23:1-3 , " 1.And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
      2Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts.
      3Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings.
      FIRST , THIS IS THE FEAST OF THE LORD , NOT THE JEWS .
      SECOND , WHAT IS A HOLY CONVOCATION ?
      ho·ly
      [ˈhōlē]
      ADJECTIVE
      dedicated or consecrated to God or a religious purpose; sacred:
      "the Holy Bible" · [more]
      synonyms:
      sacred · consecrated · hallowed · sanctified · venerated · revered · reverenced · divine · religious · blessed · blest · dedicated

      NOUN

      synonyms:
      assembly · meeting · meet · convention · rally · turnout · congress · [more]
      SOMETHING IS MISSING HERE AT ACTS 20:7 .
      ACTS 20:7 , " 7.And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.
      WHERE ARE THE LARGE GATHERING OF THE PEOPLE ?
      IT STATES THAT THE DISCIPLES MET TOGETHER TO BREAK BREAD .
      ACTS 2:46-47 , " 46.And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,
      47Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
      THE DISCIPLES BREAK BREAD DAILY , BUT THIS IS WHAT THE GOD OF ISRAEL SAID ABOUT THE SABBATH .
      THE SEVENTH DAY IS THE DAY OF REST .
      THIRD , DID JESUS CHRIST MAKE THE COVENANT , OR THE FATHER ?
      JESUS IS THE MEDIATOR OF THE COVENANT ; HE CANNOT CHANGE THE COVENANT , BUT INTERCEDES FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE COVENANT : HE IS THE HUSBAND/PROTECTION FOR THE PEOPLE .
      JESUS REPLACED THE MEDIATOR OR HUSBAND MOSES .
      THE PROTECTION COMES THROUGH A SIN SACRIFICE LAW OF ATONEMENT , UNDER A PRIESTHOOD .
      HEBREWS 7:11-12 , " 11.If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron?
      12For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.
      THE CHANGED THROUGH THE MEDIATORS WERE : FROM THE BLOOD OF THE ANIMALS TO THE BLOOD OF CHRIST .
      SHALOM !

    Trump = Daniel 11 19.
    Biden = Daniel 11 20.
    Obama = Daniel 11 21.
    It is Revelation 17:10-11 KJV Trump=6th Biden=7th Obama=8th & of the 7 the 5th head and the 8th.
    I keep warning what the Holy Spirit said to me in 2020 after I humbled myself even if it falls on deaf ears.
    This is not an opinion or interpretation the Holy Spirit said this himself after I humbled my self after what happened to my mum and dad believing as a child trusting God fully like a child does a parent and that small still voice the Holy Spirit answered me.
    Comment for the full post I cant post it 1st or YT will hide it. And now they are hiding some post that go with it.

    The Book of Revelation is about the return of Christ to the Earth, and the many prophecies surrounding his return. If anyone teaches that it is merely symbollic, they do not understand its meaning. If anyone does not teach with this major premise as a starting point....RUN!
    The Title is literally: "The Revelation of Jesus Christ" which is another way of saying, "The Appearing of Jesus Christ." It's literally about his return, when he appears in the clouds to rapture the church. Everyone knew that before the self-castrating heretic Origen tried to make it symbollic.
