I'm so frikin sick of hollywood movies never showing an average looking woman with a gorgeous guy like it's normal, but you watch this and it's keira Knightly with Sam Rockwell and that's completely normal. I hate how Hollywood normalises the idea that women have to be really beautiful in the relationship, and the dude an average Joe. Like any dude can make it in Hollywood and get romcoms and all. The girl has to be firkin Keira Knitley and even then, she gets with average looking male costars. It may sound superficial, it's not because the message it sends boys and girls, on a daily basis (really this is everywhere from commercials to films) is harmful.

But I do like these cute little simple movies that take you on a little emotional roller coaster of empathy (as long as the obligatory sad middle part doesn't drag out too much). "Objectively", it's like; right in the common sweet spot rating for a typical movie (6+ out of 10). Likely not a disappointing waste of time (if the trailer didn't turn you off the kind of movie it is).
My local AMC pulled this movie after only 1 week... WTF? I saw it... it wasn't bad at all.

sarah moses Yep, it's the If I Stay girl, and her name is Chloe Grace Moretz, and she's quite controversial, just so you are warned. She has done more R rated films before the age of 18 than anyone alive, and that she will have to live with the rest of her life. She was 13 when she played a leather clad superhero who kills people with guns a la John Woo in Kick Ass and every older male noticed. I'm the older guy who cares about children's issues so this is not just the abuse of a child by way of Hollywood, it's abuse she herself willingly accepts. This I find tragic and I ask you pray for her safety and if you're a beginning Chloe Grace fan, please be careful and protect your heart from any messages They may send through her films. Thanks and Love Always.
