  • Our first train ride in Malaysia!
We were so sad to leave Kelantan, we will especially miss Aunty at Min House Camp. After we had nasi lemak for breakfast and pulut durian for lunch, we left to go to Wakaf Baru station. YES, it was our FIRST TIME TRYING pulut durian btw!
We took the jungle train (jungle railway Malaysia) from Wakaf Bharu station to Gua Musang station, and then transferred to the ERT 27 Express Train (Sleeper) to go to Jerantut. And from Jerantut, we took a taxi to go to Kuala Tahan near Taman Negara. An almost 24 hour journey! But we are happy to arrived at our destination and stay at Asia Camp Resort.
We hope you enjoy this Malaysia travel guide and Malaysia travel vlog. Stay tuned for more things to do in Malaysia, especially things to do in Taman Negara and Taman Negara travel guide and Taman Negara vlogs.

ECRL will not replace the east coast railway. KTMB operates the "jungle train" at a loss to make fares affordable for locals who rely on it to commute daily. Like those kids who attend schools in Dabong or makcik who sell their kebun produce in bigger towns. The good thing is that KTMB is in the process of upgrading the trains and tracks to accommodate the new DMU trains 🎉
Follow my friend's FB - Mohd Radzi Jamaludin. He travels on trains around the peninsular every year. Nice photos and stories.
