  • You are about to close the deal and right before they put pen to paper you get the objection, "I need to talk to my spouse." This is probably the most common, but also one of the most difficult objections to deal with. See how I handle this objection in today's video.

Very good advices, I faced that objection today and the moment I heard it I knew I didn't do my homework. Just standed there like "ok", because what else I can do. Late but at least I am here and now I know that I have to work before prospect says these words instead after he did it. Thank you for helping us, sales is tough at begin.

Like the new age approach of sending a video.
Another technique I learned that helps get to the real objection,,, is by saying "if your wife is onboard with it,, are you yourself ready to move forward?"
Another way to say it a little different would be,,,,, "and if your wife is wanting to move forward,, is there anything you're unsure of or not 100% on?
Sometimes that will get them to open up about why they themselves aren't sure about buying.

Hey Mike, really unique video and some very interesting concepts, I currently sell security systems over the phone to home owners and I come across this objection a lot, I’m going to try asking to speak to the spouse there and then!

It doesn’t always work immediately but it shows that you at least realize there are more than one decision maker which really started working for me
