- What an absolutely incredible experience this was playing through the entire game, and I can't thank you enough for all the support on the last HK video and all the positive encouragement to make me keep playing. Hope you enjoy this three weeks late video on my journey to the true final boss.

I think the most telling part of Quirrel's "disappearance" is leaving his sword behind. During one of his early encounters he tends to his weapon and remarks to you about the importance of one's own blade. How it's the most important thing if one aims to survive these wilds. Then, after fulfilling his quest and coming to terms with the life he's lived, we find Quirrel's weapon now discarded. Not only that, but at the location of the source of the City's rain, a place Quirrel also commented on hoping to see someday. I tend to think that rather than give himself to the waters, he simply left his weapon there and returned to Hallownest. Either way, neglecting his blade intentionally meant he had no intention of returning, and so I think he was at peace.
The dead shouldn't be burdened with such things

A few things you missed :
- You missed the Path of Pain in the White Palace
- You an fight Zote again at Dirthmout, and note that each time you beat him, he gains a new title and become stronger.
- You should fill the journal and come back to the Hunter
- Once you 112% the game, you might want to watch "The mostly complete lore of Hollow Knight" by mossbag
Honestly I just watched the lore video after getting 106%. Godhome is too hard... And it's gona take me a goood while to get there.
I would genuenly recommend to do godhome before zote, then fight him and, if you want, doing PoH afterwards

@@lunaristhomsen6941 no it's base game, it's just that one of the optional things you can do with the flower is godhome (AKA true true true ending, AKA 5th ending)

I noped out of Godhome. Nobody in the word can convince me to do that content.
Its for fun and where you can re fight bosses youve already completed its not required content its for fun, thats why it gives no completion percentage@@TheNomad94
Fun fact the reason why white defender didn’t do two hearts is because you can challenge him multiple times
