I was used to Mac even before I got one coz I had been using iPad before. So it was damn easy to adopt to it. Also our school has Mac lab for classes, so that also helped. Side note: if you use GarageBand on your phone/tablet, Logic Pro is your way to go (only available on Mac systems)
For the last 9 years I’ve been using my Dell laptop for production and mixing. Upgraded it a little over all these years. It is now 16 GB RAM, 1 TB HDD + 512 GB SSD, i7 (5th or maybe 6th Gen) .. On lookout for a new laptop now since this one is on ventilator now 😆

@@akshaypratap3366 Haven’t faced any problem yet and have used big plugins - Omnisphere, Kontakt libraries, multiple instances of Serum in a single project. But if you have the budget, feel free to get more RAM.

I use intel i5 16gb ram cpu. Its quite old but works just fine. My college has a mac lab so i have worked on mac too and i found that there wasnt a big difference in performance, though my cpu does have a tendency to hang sometimes.

apples ecosystem is really good and they perform better than windows because they are more optimised to their hardware. Windows is less optimised cause none of their components are made by same company which makes it harder for manufacturers to obtain more output with almost same capable components.
I am with windows cause my 10 year old windows laptop is still with me running fl studio, vs code and minecraft with only 3rd gen i3 and 4gb of ram.
i am probably never going to use apple cause if i buy a windows with what a apple would cost, i am sure i can get more performances than apple. i also code so i like to customise my os more according to me which is not possible for apple and also cause i feel apple products are way too much overrated.

I am using i7 9th processor with 16GB DDR3 Ram and 512 nvme with 4GB nvidia GTX 1650 gpu laptop, while using cubase I get error message stating "Audio dropout detected" try enabling Asio guard and multitasking ability in cubase also updated my drivers also bios, but still getting same issue.
