It's heartbreaking to watch this video, it has been 25 years since she passed away, but the feeling of sadness and grieving is still the same like it happened just yesterday. She's a very loving and caring person, she doesn't deserve that kind of treatment from Charles,Camilla and the royal family. And most of all, she doesn't deserve that tragic death.

Being so young, being a mother, wife and Princess while dealing with a broken heart. I admire her strength. And the fact that she insisted on at least making Charles involve in taking care of William while he was still young and not just in the hands of a nanny.

It’s hard to believe that Diana was real, I was born after her tragic accident and I wish i was able to witness some of her amazingness while she was alive. She still has a lasting impression on people and I think it speaks volumes to the wonderful person she was, and I hope the princes are doing well!

She got big after her death. The truth is was treated as thrash and truant after her divorce. Charles also won admiration for his poised composure. Diana is getting bigger and bigger because of her boys. It's an interesting world we live in. How she is painted today is hard to find anyone that flawless.
I can only imagine the pain those boys felt loosing their mom. She dearly love and adore her kids. So sad that was taken away from her in such a short time. This woman has such a big influence on me. Idk when it started but the earliest was when I was a very young kid, my mother would tell me how beautiful Diana was and she would play Candle in the Wind by Elton John and would always mention it was written for Diana when she died. I didn't gave much importance but during my early teen years I really got to know Diana through videos and documentaries and now I have a very strong bond and love for her. She was such a good mother I strangely feel motherly affection from her aura and also makes me want to be a mother like her. Diana would always have my heart that also a special one. Though I was born 5 years later of her death her legacy has made love her very deeply.♥️

Watching both Diana and William many faces captured in public, I couldn’t help to feel both joy and sorrow about how much they have to bear internally but kept most of it inside...
It must have been so difficult for William & Harry, because it's very clear, that they loved both of their parents and enjoyed spending time with both of their parents. All the old footage absolutely verifies this. Diana's love story and marriage to Charles, is one of such bittersweet, sad, lonely & painful moments. May she RIP eternally.

Yeah, there was such a focus on William too here. I understand William is most likely to become the next king, but Harry’s story with his wife reminds me the most about Diana’s story. Harry is trying to do the most to make sure history doesn’t repeat itself. I applaud him (and also his wife) for that. I see a lot of Diana in the pair. In William and Kate too, but they just have a different life ahead, more committed to the monarchy, something his mom didn’t have as much after the divorce. I’m sure she is incredibly proud of both her boys, even though they’re living two completely different lives at this moment. I see this fire in Harry and Meghan, one to speak their truth in an elegant way, and wanting to fight against injustice. I really respect them for that. William is more closed in in the system, but I don’t know whether he ever really had a choice in all that.
The fact that Charles was upset about Harry being a boy, really explains a lot about his actual relationship with him now...

I'll never understand why Queen Elizabeth allowed Charles to marry Camilla AT ALL! It started disgracefully and wrongly and she "condoned" it in the end by allowing it.
She allowed it because he had already produced an heir AND a spare. Camilla was the one he's always loved, but she wasn't aristocratic enough to birth his children (per royal standards.)
The Queen could not stop it and so she did not go to the wedding as it was in a registry office. The future King could not get married there. Because of this Camilla cannot be Queen consort. The Queen did go to the blessing but that is all. Charles only had his sons at the wedding.
Its the only right thing for the queen to do. If she had let it happen in the first place none of this would have ever happened. No matter who you are, your love life and who you marry should be completely up to you! You can't decide who you fall in love with

I think he was closer to his mother than William because William had to be king. Harry probably was able to truly bond with his mother in a way that William wasn’t allowed. Even now he speaks of his mom all the time and the money she left them in case they wanted out. Harry is using it now to protect his family from the madness

And they could have being the best king and queen ever, because Queen Elisabeth II is her own legend. Queen Victoria was long term Queen, but she was awful, moody, depressed. Anyways, Diana said right, we worked very well in the beginning, but Charles had no intention of being marriage to her for long, he didn’t not sacrifice it to give some love to Diana. She really loved Charles but he didn't love her back. Unrequited love, it's an agony even Shakespeare wrote about. It shows you that it doesn't matter how much you love someone, how beautiful you are, what you do, if they don't love you and they love another then that's it, you are not the one for them.
You're so right. I feel sorry for both of them, Diana was put in an impossible situation when she was forced to marry a man who already loved someone else. And while it would have been the appropriate thing for Charles to do is to either not marry Diana or marry her but leave Camilla, no one is flawless and he had his fair share of misery because of that unfortunate marriage. He is to be credited for sticking to his not too beautiful, not too noble but true love when he could have the Princess of Perfection.

My sister was born on the same day and year as Diana. Were American but she always loved Diana and felt a special bond with her. She was devastated when she passed away and her dream was to someday meet her. I also had great respect for Diana and my sister passed in 2020. I hope she got her wish to meet her even if in heaven. Well clearly she resented her as well because she was more appealing and adored publicly probably more than the queen herself and THAT would be a problem for the Q so she allowed Charles to do as he liked (especially after an heir arrived safely) and sided with him.

You would say that she was young and innocent, No, at that time it’s very common to have a family in that age. I got a child when i was 22 and i am 12 years younger than her. So in her time, most women are already matured in that age when she marry Charles, enough to know that you should not marry a man who’s in-love to someone else. She was good of all the charities she worked with .. but common, she is not a saint and we are not her partner to know how she is on their private married life. Reminds me of all the humble princess movies from my childhood. After reading about royalty, you didnt get too many down to earth people living in with those statuses. I wonder if they, especially princess Diana, influenced those movies. She showed emotion from sad to happy and made it okay to just be humans. Made it okay to cry in public to go on to another day. She wasnt just a strong figure but a real woman and that is the reason why ive always admired her. She wasnt just a princess, she was the worlds beautiful teacher of life. Well she did have rather a lot of affairs well before Harry was conceived. She went after other people's husbands. Oliver Hoare and Will Carling spring to mind. She didn't care about their wives. Will Carling's wife divorced him over his affair with Diana, and Hoare's wife had to call in the police to stop the phone calls to their house, after that affair ended. She did very good things, she had saving graces, but Diana was no Saint. Their marriage was by most standards, "arranged" and pressure was applied to Charles to get on with it.
I was in junior high (not in England but The States, Texas to be exact) when the news broke of Princess Diana's death. Almost everyone at school was pensively whispering as if there was an intuitive moment of silence was called but lasted for hours. I'll never forget my history teacher starting class late and addressing the class by saying, "We're going to take a break from today's reading and talk about Princess Diana, who we tragically loss today. He was somber and continued, "She not only captivated us but she inspired acts of courage, devotion, generosity, kindness, and what it means to be a good human being... and she never let royal life detract her from caring for the disadvantaged and the sick." Some parts are blurry but he ended on "She'll be remembered as a great humanitarian... and an inspirational figure for good in the world."
I remember having gut wrenched feeling as if I lost my own family member. My parents speaking exceptionally about her on several occasions but my dad had disdain the Winsor family excluding her boys.
When one looks at all her philanthropic efforts in the way she used her popularity and the monarchs power/wealth to bring attention to numerous injustices in the world and for the disadvantaged. She had love for the common people, not just her people and so many STILL have love and respect for her including a whole new generation who rediscovered/rediscovering this great lady. To this day, I've never heard anyone utter negative word from their lips, only flattering words whenever her name is spoken.
The Princess was involved with over 100 charities for the poor, homeless, cancer trusts, refugee camp conditions and relief etc. In her efforts to dismantle societal stigma around HIV/AIDS and leprosy, Princess Di is the ONLY royal family member to ever touch patients with HIV/AIDS and lepers in which she also refused to wear gloves when meeting them or even touching their bandaged wounds. Princess Di's famous "landmine walk" in Angola brought the UN Mine Ban Treaty into fruition which 150 countries signed the treaty. Her life was cut so short but her legacy will be long. I can only imagine what The Princess could've accomplished if she lived a full life.
