We wanted to play with our Supercharged Yahama RX1 but it is the middle of summer. So we took the golf kart wheels and snowblower tires off of our Princess Jeep and rode hard around the yard. This is the engine and super charger going into our Triumph Spitfire build so Subscribe and stick around to see this beast in action! MPI stage 1 supercharger.

Can't wait to get this beast mounted in the Triumph! www.grindhardplumbingco.com/
You guys are like the hoonigans
Grind Hard Plumbing Co I am excited and absolutely terrified at the same time. If you don’t have both then is it even a GHP video?
Not trying to be one of those guys but thats a mg midget not hating
@@davidweld7240 it's a triumph spitfire, very close in looks
Oh sorry
Fair warning. The rear suspension in the spitfire can be inconsistent. Snap oversteer is common and terrifying. Cool build, don't die.
Snotocycle
Cool build, don’t die - I think that pretty much sums this channel up
@@miken.4693 seriously! 😂😂
Problem: Spitfire Rear Suspension
Solution: Install Snowmobile Rear Suspension and Treads
@@russellzauner yesssssss!
I’m sure dirt hitting the heat exchanger works just as good as snow. To cool the motor
richardtwardy was thinkin the exact same lol
That and the slides probably melted lmao
That and I'm sure the track and all moving parts last just as long with dirt in them as they would in the snow.
You need windshield wiper tank with dish soap and tubes pointed at sliders for lube or you will melt them to track or find a grass drag suspension
😂😂😂😂😂
That Triumph is going to be a fun car to mess around with ! Have fun y'all
The cinematic shots are great! Good job guys. With the work you guys do there will be 1,000,000 subs soon
Not doubt, it only took just a little over 1 year for this amount of subs... I remember when there were only 12k subs... Back when I was in awe at the rotation tree house and the bike elevator!
Lol. My biological father has been doing this since the early 90's. He also made a rear suspension to convert your snowmobile into an atv. He died a few years ago. Man was ahead of his time.
That's dope. Rip to pops
"And BOOM! We Got Wheelz for our Snowmobile" Luv It!
Ethan: "I want this engine in everything we have!!" 😂 I can't wait to see this lol car rip!!! Keep it up guys!! Thanks again for all your help!!
Moto Mule Hey Mike :) This is definitely a cool build! I’m looking forward to seeing this all come together!
@@Mikefestiva Yes! These guys are awesome!! It will be a rowdy Spitfire for sure!!!!
When there is no snow, you can still practice the snowmobile !
And that's great !
Larry enticer!!!!!!!!
"Obscene amounts of power" love it!!
Can’t say it enough, you guys have the BEST BIULDS on CZcams 🚗🚘👌🏾👍🏾😎
Dude, I was scared for you. Glad you lived through it. Be careful!!! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
This has been a dream of mine for years and living in Alaska means I am tripping over snow machines.
You guys are crazy! I love it, keep going! I saw a truck whose driver's side tie rod have given out yesterday right in the middle of a major super busy road.
Really looking forward to this project. I’ve been wanting to see something like this and have been pondering the idea of a kabota diesel in a small truck. Then it got me thinking about the small auto industry and now I’m hooked on stuff like this. Can’t wait to see how she turns out
When Ian was going thru the grass at the bottom of the hill, it looked like he was riding a Jetski on land....lol
That would be sick on the odyssey with some long travel suspension...
I'm so excited every time I see an update from you guys. Can't wait to see how you work out the rear drive on this build.
Almost at a million!! Glad to see yall growing, great video and builds!!!!
Well that's one way to turn a two track into a one track!
It's stuff like this that keeps me watching youtube. Good job guys!
*Cant Wait To See It Done!!!!!*
Really love the cinematography and editing! You guys are killin it!
Hey! Phil Swift here !! That’s a lot of power !
Your videos makes me happy, thank you 🤜🤛
OK. Old man stuff. When I was in High school (100 years ago) my best friend had a 1959 Austin-Healey Bugeye Sprite. It had an 80 inch wheelbase and a 4 cylinder (948cc), 43 hp engine. We had so much fun in and working on that car. It had the biggest Weber carb I had ever seen. If it was idling and you jabbed the throttle, it would just die (lost all vacuum). I'll never forget that car or my friend. This project reminds me of some of the things we fantasized about doing to it. We never did. He ended up trading it for a 64 Mustang HO 289 and more stories. Thanks.
Is that the same as the frog eye sprite?
@@ellisberry8747 Yes.
@@bigviking0001 very cool, I've always loved Austin-Healey.
Ever since Tim got one.
You guys should build a tank with the extra snowmobile tracks !
Bass guitar in this track sounded amazing man!
Loving the edits and music recently Edwin! Stoked on this new project keep it up guys!! :)
Who else but you guys would think of putting a Yahama RX1 engine in a car. CAN'T WAIT!
These guys are the best! They have so much fun. Keep up the awesome builds and keep having fun!
This is such a wild build. Absolutely love it.
I'm flabbergasted that those bolts held. Nothing against your welding, that just seems like a HUGE amount of stress on what essentially appeared to be, what, an 8" long 1/2" bolt? Jeepers. Can't wait to see how this project winds up. I'm still REALLY holding out hope for a 'real' transmission, but I suspect that'd be potentially impossible and almost certainly more R&D/fab work than you're going to want to tackle in the garage, so I'm also trying to warm myself up to the CVT, haha!
Those bolts are frickin God’s dude
That's ...... f**ked!! Can't wait to see where you take this Trampler build! SHE RIPS!!!
Loved the video guys!! But I have a "CHALLENGE" for you guys 😂 build a death kart (from scratch) put the MG motor in it! Then! Blow through carbi setup! (Turbo carbi)
It would be so cool to see you guys beat my "CHALLENGE" (quoting that because nothing is a "CHALLENGE" for you guys) 😂😂
This is amazing, you guys truly have outdone yourselves!
Love the crazy stuff you guys do! Keep ripping it🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The craziest geniuses on CZcams
Should call it Merlin, since that's the supercharged motor in the warbird Spitfire
My god that spitfire is going to be one crazy ass machine once you guys have finished playing with it.
Really can’t wait for this ☝️
I have never really been a fan of the Triumph but I can't wait to see this thing come together.
Cant wait guys! Awesome! DONT STOP! :)
Notification squad 😎 GHPC FTW
You dudes are insane, never stop 👍🐱🏍
I have a feeling that car is going to be all kinds of crazy with that engine in it.
Put the skis back on and let's see some water skipping!!
THIS!
DO IT!
YOU'RE GONNA LOVE IT!
its a four strok tho
I've been waiting for y'all to do this. Awesome work guys!!
That snowmobile is a bonifide death machine lol. Can't wait to see that in the triumph
I’m way to excited to see this, keep up the outstanding work!
Built a solid axle with three wheeler balloon tires,
bolted it up through the king pin bushings of a ski-doo elan.
Air cooled, with bogey rear suspension.
Used it for utility purposes in Alaska.
Slow, but unstoppable.
Had to install a double wide chain case from an alpine to cope with the extra traction.
Guys the cinematic shots are just zo satisfying to watch❤👌👌
Can't wait to see it finished
When your snowmobile has more power then a turbo Civic😭😭
The one with the honda boat motor swap
My civic makes 200 stock lmao
Yeah, my sled makes 220 HP and it only weighs like 650 Lbs
@did ya shit in the pool again Id love to see a snowmobile with 700 HP last more than 2 Miles before it blows up
@did ya shit in the pool again Im sure they arent hard to find. But I can guarantee you there arent any putting miles on the trails. An engine that small cannot survive the kind of compression ratios you would need to achieve that amount of horsepower.
My Brother thats a bad ass!!!snowmobile conversion. hell yes 👍👍
Excelente 🇩🇴🇩🇴🌎
please do right by that BOSS seat and don't leave it sitting outside! Wish I could afford it I'd buy it from you guys.
Boss seats are well....Boss
Loving the vids and mods guys, keep it up 👍🏼
I can’t wait to see how you are gonna get the power to the rear wheels.
FINALLY!!!!
hahaha i seen your title and thought to myself "of course you did" haha awesome videos!! keep em coming!!
I can't wait for this build
Been waiting for this video!! Im loving the series cant wait for the next vid!
Me: I need my fields ploughed.
GHPC: We got this!
You guys are onto something here...seriously snowmobile riders would def buy a swap kit they can just switch out for skids whenever snow isn’t falling
thekneeslider.com/warm-weather-options-for-your-hibernating-snowmobile/
Now you guys need a road Grader! For fixing your drive way from all the 'rippen!! N. IDAHO represent!!!
Mint! This will be the nicest sounding Triumph ever!
Dont know if anyone else has already brought it to your attention, but the stock rear diff on the spit is rather weak. Like 100hp is borrowed time weak. There is an upgrade using a subaru diff out there that may be worth considering. I had planned on doing an R1 powered "motospit" and my solution was grafting in miata subframes (and just let the wheels poke). Wound up deciding I didnt have the time to get it done and bought a ready to run racecar instead. I actually still need to get rid of some of the miata parts and would gladly donate them to you guys in support of the awesome. Oh yeah, if you break an axle rather than the diff on the stock triumph stuff you will most likely flip it (wheel fold under). Plan a roll structure accordingly!
We were actually talking about swapping a Miata rear end into it, because obviously the stock setup isn’t up to the task. Could you send us an email with more details and pictures of the parts you have? grindhardplumbingco@gmail.com
So exited to see you boys working on this looks a weapon!
We do this here in Ontario in the summer down the lake an back. Snowmobiles make great jet skis also! Rad build🤙 don’t flip! easy on those corners hard on the straights 🥓🇨🇦
Can’t wait to see the next video guys
That car is going to blow the tires at (insert speed)!
So excited! 😁
Snowtor-cycle ftw
love the turbo sound
Insane project....
So stoked!
Damn yall where sending it on that rocket ship🔥💯
Don’t you love it how the haters are subscribed with notifications on 😂
Sam Crow there not
Nick Is bad at mc there was a dislike 1 min after the vid was posted.
That is beyond amazing. You guys are the greatest.
nothing sounds better then a killer sled
Corey and Trevor would kill themselves if they had this one. Chips and smokes let’s go!
Listen to me you two fuck heads if you dont fuck this up we are family alright
This is such a fun project.
That's going to be insane for a triumph
Need to put wheels in back of it. Also put on a liquid coolant radator with it to keep it blowing up the engine
That fine 4 stroke sound
I want one of your builds!! Absolutely epic!!
That snowmobile rips can't wait to see how you are going to mate that engine to the car
This is just soooooo COOL!!!!!! Can’t wait
The triumph is going haul some serious yee's when you get it going great video
Yee's???? Why is this so familiar? Sous? 110!
@@johnhelbig4115 I'm not sure I've said it for years it's short for yee haw, nothing better than yee haws and horse power ,maybe you've seen one of my videos were I said it?
The first thing I thought is how bad ass it would be in the dunes that machine would rule.
Looks like it’s closer to being a roto-tiller then a lawn mower lol! Well done!
Sod stripper
This is the best project i have seen on the internet so far. Keep the good work going ... )))) Super cool )))
I absolutely love this channel
that engine sounds mint!!!!!! I m in love :)
"I've never seen you let off of anything on this hill.... "I'm doing it again."
I really love the new music!
