Legitimately, there were a few moments where even Trump looked at Biden, his face saying "Dude, are you legit ok?"
I think legit concern kept him from using the attacks I was expecting: like saying " you have the morals of an ally cat" the natural riposte is showering with his teenage daughter or "where did Hunter get his morals" since either Biden is a bad influence or an inattentive father. Major irrefutable hit backs and Trump, known for his quick wit, didn't use them

My favorite bit is Trump saying democrats want to raise federal taxes by (44k to 95k a year tax bracket) 22%x4 = 88%. I guess Biden smiling with his eyes lightning up confirm it, so who hate Trump enough to live on 12% to 0% of your paycheck or money? Since California have 13% state tax. Something people miss, I think.

Oh yes. My father-in-law is suffering with dementia, and my wife couldn’t make it more than 15 minutes through the debate. What I see with Biden, I see with her father. The trailing off during sentences only to suddenly start talking about something else. The unexplained bouts of anger that come out of nowhere. The confused and distant facial expressions. The lies he tells because he thinks it is the truth.

The strict rules that made Trump unable to interrupt Biden actually helped Trump a lot. Trump's facial expression reactions and just letting Biden cook was all Trump had to do to win.
Trump also genuinely looked concerned for Biden at times which made Trump come across as kinder than usual instead of a name calling inerrupter.
All in all, terrible for Biden.

The best thing CNN did was mute the mics so Trump couldn't talk over Biden, allowing the guy to make a fool of himself on his own. The split screen being used was just so good. That said, this was all on the Biden administration and the rules they wanted for the debate. I guarantee it won't be like this in September, if they even do this again. I highly doubt it.

For the most part Trump actually didn't talk over Biden. For that I was really surprised. Trump actually came across as the grown up in the room and it was refreshing.
