  • In this video we show you how to install an MBRP exhaust
    on your 2016+ Infiniti Q50 3.0T. We're working on my friends 2018 Red Sport.
    Something a little different for this channel which primarily shows BMW DIYs. Hopefully you BMW guys still find this video entertaining and informative.
    This car already has aftermarket downpipes.
    Toward the end of the video we include a few sound clips.
    Exhaust purchased from Meraki Autworks: www.merakiauto...
    Their site is under construction, give them a shout at info@merakiautoworks.com and ask for Josh!
    Also, shout out to Race Consulting Agency (RCA) in Chicago for co-developing these exhausts with MBRP. They did a solid for the VR30 scene by getting affordable, quality exhausts out for us all.
    Thanks for watching!

    Hey bro, I am a welder and the welds are not TIG welded, by the looks of it it was a wire feed welded probaby MIG, the weld on the flange is decent, how ever the welds in the x-pipe is kinda meh, I can see a little pinhole in one of the welds, not that it will cause any problems but pinholes in a weld can cause a leak and cracked weld later on.

    Come on guys, bigger diameter pipes do NOT yield more HP. With tuning bigger diameter pipes do become necessary but that is because you have a greater volumetric flow of exhaust gases. With stock power, bigger diameter pipes just slow down the velocity of the exhaust gases with some decrease in pressure, which is good but an optimal amount of velocity is needed to properly remove all exhaust gases from the combustion chamber. Magnaflow has a solid table that compares the volume of the engine and HP to the optimal pipe diameter.

    • @delroylawrence.6480
      @delroylawrence.6480 Před 5 lety

      the pipe are too big , if you are running a 3 diameter inch piping you only need one 3inch pipe for greater volumetric flow of exhaust gases and make much more power
