She's incredible, stunning. I'm 51 and just recently discovered her wished it happened earlier so I could have made it to a show. I grew up with the Beatles, etc. One of my fave bands is Metallica. Lately, all I can do is listen to Adele and watch interviews, videos. I'm absolutely infatuated, obsessed. Her voice penetrates my soul. She is one of the mist beautiful people in the world.
Best concert I've ever been to. She is just pure raw talent that reaches your inner core and fills it with emotions you didn't even know you had. Balled my eyes out lol.
That's exactly what I was telling my brother right after the show. I was like I cant believe its over now.. I didn't get my tickets right away. I tried to get them online via ticketmaster the day they went on sale. I was waiting for like over an hour.. Until it finally said Sorry No More Tickets Available I was so heart broken. Then ofcourse the Scalpers started selling them for like ridiculous amounts. Which I was even more devastated cause I didn't have all that much money. I kept checking and checking I even cried once cause I thought that's it I'm not going to be able to go. Until June 28th Ticketmaster sent me a text like 11pm. We ended up with amazing seats right in front of her. 1st row where the rows began. Not floor seats but she was looking right at us.. Most amazing moment of my life.. Truly Blessed. Anyhow enough of my road to Adele story LMAO!!!!!!!!
I think this version is so sensual, and I'm getting both a Judy Garland vibe as well as a Janis Joplin vibe from it. Adele really let 'er rip in this one. A commanding performance of one of my favorite songs by Adele.
The songs for the album were demoed and recorded acoustically, so when sung live it will make the singer nervous, as they have already tried to sing it perfectly for the recordings. I like live performances, too but it must be scary being on a stage, with all those people you don’t know scrutinising the performance. This song reminds me of my true and only love, it was almost as if I knew where his soul was, but we were too young and should have taken the time to get to know each other better and not be pressured into a physical relationship
