Her writing was more complex with her earlier albums. "Go easy on me baby, i was still a child, didn't get a chance to feel the world around me" is really not a lyrical miracle especially knowing she was practically a grown woman in that period she supposedly sings about 🤷♂️...or "when I call you never seem to be home" lol...if it wasn't Adele you would think it could have been written by any teenager out there

I knew that my relationship was ending, and I was so in love with my boyfriend, but our relationship was so toxic, we couldn’t stay together.
I didn’t want it to end badly. My relationship with my first real love had ended pretty brutally and it’s a scar than never really goes away. I was terrified of going through another bitter breakup.
I felt like our relationship deserved better than that after everything that we had been through.
