Plus the Tony awards are much better because they actually nominate people with talent, over those who are merely celebrity faces (ahem, Nicole Sherzinger ahem) So hopefully both Pippa and Eva will be nominated and both deserve to win 💜 But personally, having seen Eva as Kim 5 times, I really hope she gets it, because she is truly marvellous and literally breathtaking in one of the hardest roles ever created! Pippa really does radiate and she is incredible and so so beautiful on and off stage, but I'm not sure it'll be enough to beat Eva! X
I was so lucky to see this on the second day of previews. It was absolutely incredible. Every single character was hilarious, tragic, witty, relatable. Easily the best show I've been to in my life. Told a great, family friendly, fun story. I cried when I saw Pip. We went stagedooring after and got playbills signed by almost the entire cast (including pip!) They were all so sweet.
If you do not mind me asking, does Nino still work the same job he worked in the film? It is not that important to the plot, but you mentioned that it was family friendly, which made me wonder. Btw, you are one lucky person to be able to see it. :)

i freaking love this musical so much. not just because of pippa, but because of the message of life being a risk worth taking, and always doing good to those around you. amélie is such a beautiful and quirky character, always staying in tune with her childhood (which can be seen as a little traumatic with how her parents treated her but she’s still able to make light of that), being a creative girl, and always being kind to those around her, and later on as the musical progresses and helps more people, her character development portrayed is incredible. it also helps that the score is amazing too an all of the songs are super catchy haha. i wish it stayed on broadway for longer, i’m so upset it didn’t get the recognition it deserved :((
I love the movie, it might be my favorite post 70s film. Now I must listen to the music, I won't get a chance to see the show sadly(I'm guessing even touring shows probably are over maybe?), life gets in the way, financially and medically. I adore Phillipa Soo now bcuz of Hamilfilm and CZcams interviews and all the cute vids from the Hamilsquad I have consumed since 7/03/2020. Y'all Pippa fans are something else and I understand. ❤❤❤❤

I really want to like this musical since the film is such a delight and a day dream. Do not make me disappointed that the original filmmaker sold the rights!
This musical is so lovely and it is refreshing to see a show that allows the audience to use our imaginations instead of throwing every video and special effect at it to underline every point. I love it's simplicity and the real ache at the heart of it's story; the ache Amelie feels as an introvert in a disconnected world.

Saw the show in Los Angeles during its Pre Braodway engagement. Pippa and Adam were absolutely stunning and the entire ensemble has so much heart! See this show while the Original Broadway Cast is intact!
Uggggg! I have a problem! I love this and I know it's going to be a giant hit (I mean, Pippa's in it so obviously), but my mom worked really hard to get tickets to Hamilton in SF (cuz I live in the bay area) so now I get to see Hamilton, so I am overjoyed (I'm not joking, i cried when I found out), but that means I can't ask for anything awesome for another 20 years, so I doubt I will ever get to see Amelie.
