Tomlin is the only coach with no losing seasons
Shady will forever defend the coach that gave him a free ring lmao. Dude has ZERO touches in his SB playoff runs and acts like he was the star RB. Thats why he will defend Reid coz Shady got that SYMPATHY RING thanks to Reid.
Bill Belichick made Brady so he's the Goat duh
SHADY YOURE TERRIBLE! Glad you took the lab diamonds off 😂😂😂
Shady contradicted his own point. He brings up how Andy didn’t have the right QB until he got Mahomes but then downplays Gibbs for winning with 4 different QBs who aren’t on the level of Mahomes. So wouldn’t Gibbs look better and have a higher degree of difficulty for winning with “no names” than Andy needing a top 3 QB ever to win?!?!?
Exactly Gibbs better
Thank you!!
Gibbs is the goat to me and I'm a steelers fan but Andy won games and got to a sb without Mahomes Bill can't even have a winning season without BRADY THE GOAT QB Gibbs can when a sb with me at qb or you the GOAT coach period
Shula's win total is even more impressive when you realize that he only coached 14 games a season for his first 15 years.
Regardless of schedule size, it's impressive. When coaches like McDaniels get jobs really show how good of a coach Shula was.
Didn't Shula coach for over 30 years though?
@@Opinlinz yes.
This is the most frustrating episode of Speak I’ve ever watched. Being a little bit older than the cast, I did have the opportunity to watch one of the greatest, Bill Walsh. Bill is the coach that made the West Coast Offense work (still being used to this day). Who did he coach? How about players like Joe Montana, Jerry Rice, Ronnie Lott, Charles Haley, traded for Steve Young. His coaching tree includes Mike Holmgren (won a superbowl), George Seifert (won 2 superbowls with basically a team Walsh built for), and Mike Shanahan (won 2 superbowls).
Shady needs to research history if he’s going to talk about subjects like this.
And Andy Reid coached under Mike Holmgren.
@@scottandrews9453 Exactly, the coaching tree under Bill Walsh is extensive and has a lot of branches.
This whole show is frustrating because they're so obsessed with rings when that's only one aspect of a player's or coach's career. Also Andy Reid's tree, for what it's worth, already includes 3 Super Bowl-winning coaches (Bowles, Pederson, Harbaugh).
Both teams in this SB, one of which Shady lusts over, runs that offense. Shady became HIM in that very offense, lol
You are right but the question Shady asked wasn't wrong though. He kept asking Joy and James okay who are the notable players he coached. If you asked them about Belichek they can easily name the players (mind you he's more current so it'll be easier). But with the older guys they couldn't name anyone. If you can't name them one of two things happened, either you aren't aware like acho mentioned or they weren't notable. In this case it was the earlier.
Shady sooooo emotional haha😂😂
and ignorant...that's a deadly combination.
Shady is stupid
Feelings overload..
Dudes a clown he just wants to be right
@boricuafrican1 very ignorant. As if Don shula never even existed
I love when James said “and you watched these dudes in the 80s?” In disbelief 😂
Imagine McCoy's excuse being "yea but, who did they coach" LeSean listen. You are losing your own argument by making this point. If they didn't coach anyone HOF or Elite and still won SBs then this by definition is a great coach. Cuz they won with nobody. He always been a 🤡
@@LivingSanFranciscoBayArea i actually think he just doesn't know who any players or coaches were before the year 2000.
I was born in 1982 and I didn't watch all the games, but I remember watching a few and I. Also watched all the greatest sports moments from the 80s. I watched it over and over again in a lot of games. I went and watched online Knowledge is everywhere These days so It's very possible you could watch games from the eighties nowadays
Shady ridiculous. How can he say Belichick shouldn't be up there because of Brady but he ready to put Andy up there now?. Who is Andy Reid without Patrick?
The one point I think shady is missing before Brady went to Tampa he was still considered a system quarterback but that changed when he went to Tampa now a lot of people think Brady is more to the Patriots Dynasty than Bill was
Facts!!!
Shady lost me when he said Andy better than Madden and Lombardi. 😮😅😅😅 like bro. U disrespecting the football GODS now.
@@jakieresykes3644 true I just think Brady and Belichick had the perfect partnership. Belichick found his franchise guy that could spread his message in the locker room and someone who turned into a great leader. Andy Reid made Patrick lol cut it out

I skimmed through this whole segment and everytime I stopped he was talking. . . I'd be annoyed too.
Shady keeps bringing up Andy Reid developing offensive players. Hello that’s the side he coaches on. Bill developed players on his side of the ball defense!!
Bill had 7+ games where the defense held the other team under 10 points. The offense was trash, he essentially had 2 bench QBs. Anything competent and they have a much better record.
While I don’t disagree, what about the amount of players Bill has sent to the pro bowl? He’s only coached 2 players to the Pro Bowl in his entire career
@@p_squaredd8323Mike McCarthy just coached like 20 pro bowlers this past season. What does that mean?
@@p_squaredd8323 the Patriots have never been a big brand team. They have had great players that just flew under the radar. They weren't the flashy team. Just the disciplined and consistent team. That doesn't get you to the pro bowl. Ratings does

Tom Landry, Chuck Knoll, Don Shula, and Vince Lombardi just to name a few!!

Ok so tell us about them.. don’t tell me superbowls wins because all the great have a superbowl.. tell me who they develop like he didn’t with Andy Reid.. tell me who they coach like he did with Andy Reid that’s his point
@@wade2xx552 Dumb as shady and acho on this take
@wade2xx552 He point is ignorant and anecdotal. He played under Andy Reid. That is the only reason he knows anything about him, clearly. It shows because he knows nothing about any other coach. I don't think he knows anything. I think he is up there for a paycheck.
@@wade2xx552 Tom Landry was THE Coach who made the Dallas Cowboys America's Team! He developed a program that began in 1960 as an expansion team. The team was the worst team in football for a few years as they failed to win a game in their inaugural season. Success in the pro football world and the "glory years" didn't come easily. Playing in the storied Cotton Bowl, the 1960 Cowboys had to settle for one tie in 12 games and Dallas didn't break even until its sixth season in 1965. But in 1966, the Cowboys began an NFL-record streak of 20 consecutive winning seasons. That streak included 18 years in the playoffs, 13 divisional championships, five trips to the Super Bowl and victories in Super Bowls VI and XII.
Now, you can't do ALL of that without having the ability to developed players and into a system of winning.
Landry developed Rodger Staubach to be successful at the NFL level. Staubach was in the NAVY at had to serve his time before he could play in the league. You think he just came out of the Navy and on his OWN became a SUPERSTAR QB? Tom Landry had a hand in Staubach's rise in the NFL.
Drew Pearson was an undrafted free agent from the University of Tulsa who would have struggled to make it in the League on any team. He was small and SLOW for a Wide Receiver and Tom Landry could have CUT him. Instead HE developed Drew to become a Hall Of Fame Level Receiver. Thomas "Hollywood" Henderson played college football at NAIA, HBCU Langston University. Who in the WORLD would have drafted a kid from a program that many High School teams could beat? Henderson became an ELITE Linebacker for the Cowboys!! Tom Landry had a hand in his development!! And, let's not forget BOB HAYES!! Hayes was a TRACK STAR who Tom Landry DEVELOPED into a Superstar Wide Receiver. Hayes couldn't run routes like a PRO because Track was his focus. He was a great athlete not a Wide Receiver when he came in the League.
I could go on ALL DAY about the impact these "OLD" Coaches had on the development of their organizations and players!! RESPECT!!
Somebody needs to tell Shady that the Super Bowl trophy is named after one of those "old coaches". Sidney Poitier said in one of his movies, "You wear your ignorance like a badge of honor." That's the perfect description of Shady.
I love it when joy and shady not on the same side, she be trying not to school him so bad lmao

that was outrageous by shady in the beginning🤣🤣🤣
Shady says Reid "found" Mahomes, a first round talent, but Belichixk drafting Brady in the sixth, it was all just Brady, is thw definition of hypocrisy.
not really...you draft a QB that low, you don't have significant plans for him...he's your 4th or 3rd string QB basically, which Brady was originally.
Fortunately for Brady, he was kept and was #2 backing Bledsoe when Bledsoe went down...Bill had no choice but to start Brady for the majority of the season.
Andy Reid made trades to draft Mahomes in round one, eventually started Mahomes, and traded Smith.
one hit the jackpot while the other made good investments.
@@boricuafrican1Like he said didn’t Belichick draft and mold Tom Brady and taught him how to read defenses and coverages/schemes
Qb’s back then weren’t as coveted as now . The league became qb centric when Tom became the face of the league.
@@user-lt1fx2he5s doubt he even really knew who Tom was the 1st year...the 2nd year Bledsoe went out in game 2...I'd give more of the credit to the offensive coordinator honestly.
Brady drafted himself and played defense, thats how people talk about him. I say the first 3 Super Bowls 60% Bill 40% Tom, last 3 Super Bowls 60% Tom 40% Bill.
Salute to joy STANDING ON BUSINESS!! 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
Shady has the most insane logic I ever heard.. "Andy is the best because I know him. I don't know them dudes yall mentioned"... N_%+= what!!!??
Joe Gibbs is an overlooked coach. His total number of wins aren’t astronomical, like some, but he did win 3 Super Bowl Championships with THREE DIFFERENT QUARTERBACKS. Every other coach presents the “is it the coach or the qb” conundrum. Is it Reid or Mahomes? Is it Belichick or Brady? Of course, the answer to this quandaries is “it’s both.” With Gibbs, he showed he can not just “win” with multiple QBs (like Reid), but win the SB with multiple QBs (unlike Reid).
As well as the First African American QB Doug Williams
and while Gibbs' rosters were generally solid all the way through, he typically had very few players you could call superstars. None of the quarterbacks who he won Super Bowls with was a Hall of Famer. Darrell Green was by far the best player he coached in Washington. He had 2 other Hall of Famers in Art Monk and Russ Grimm. Aside from that you're mostly looking at guys like Rich Milot and Don Warren and Monte Coleman and Darryl Grant. Don't get me wrong, I love each of those guys. They all contributed mightily to the success Washington had, but not a single one of them ever went to the Pro Bowl. Sounds like these guys had great coaching.
@@cardboardbelt Also outside of QB's, Defensive end Dexter Manley holds the Washington single season sack record at 18.5. Not bad for a guy who was drafted in 6th round and was on the team for 2 of Coach Joe Gibb's Superbowls.
Joy and James destroyed Shady in this argument.
Can’t blame Bill for having Tom when Andy hasn’t won a ring without Mahomes. Stop it Shady.
He at least made it. What has Belicheck done without Tom. Reid always has his team as a contender no matter who the QB is.
@@wajahatjafri7246 He still had Donovan, give BB someone as good as Donovan and he'd still be coaching in NE right now.
The difference is Bill had a terrible record before he got Tom, and Andy made it to the SB and had actual coaching success. McNabb wasn’t nice like that, and Andy revitalized Alex Smith.
Bill had 1/6 winning season before he landed Tom. Andy made the playoffs in like 13/19 seasons and made several championship games and a SB before landing Pat.

Russel Wilson won with the Seahawks, how's his next chapter going?
Joe Flacco won with the Ravens, how's his next chapters going?

EXACTLY AT LEAST KC HAD 1 RING
@KingKratos79 the ring from over 50 years ago? Lmao😂that's your argument
Bellicheck had 1 winning season before he got brady. When he took over the patriots the had a hall of fame qb (Bledsoe), two star wideouts (Brown and Glenn), and a solid oline. He also had a superbowl Caliber defense featuring four pro bowlers (McGinest, Mitchell, Law, and Milloy). And he still went 5 -11 in his first season. He has a .443 winning percentage without brady. The two of them together are the reasons why they had success. Brady and Bill don't win 6 rings with each other. First 3 rings were carried by bills defenses and brady not making mistakes. The last 3 was bradys high flying offenses with gronk, Edelman, Gordon and Michel. When brady won his ring without Bill it because he went to a stacked offense and a 2nd ranked defense. You can't talk brady/bellicheck without also talking about spygate, deflategate, pedsgate, ir tampering, player tampering, tuck rule, and many more seasons of cheating.
