Don't get me wrong, I love both of your channels, but this really is 5 star content. My heart started racing in this one. The suspense, the humor, the pro skills, everything. Tomb of Giants was my favorite area in Dark Souls. I'd farm skeleton babies for humanity for hours while my golden summon sign was down just before Leeroy's Lookout, and whenever I got summoned they'd get greeted by a sunbro chick wearing a Mimic face, before she swapped it out to her normal Dusk Crown and did a Shrug gesture. xD All this while listening to ambient, psychidellic music from my laptop, the TV volume down to its lowest setting, at 2 AM, with a coffee on one side of me and a sleeping black labrador on the other, with the window open as it was pouring down rain outside.
Most relaxing feeling in the world. Kinda funny that Dark Souls became a relaxing game for me instead of an intense one, once I memorized all the things as well as got gud. But nice nonetheless.

it's the half way point of the catacombs. it's literally just up the path. not that bad. i could understand not finding the hollow. oh well, now he knows.
I could tell where it was, I just wish I knew about it on my first playthrough in like 2011. I died SO MANY times to the Catacombs.
Matt Fletcher CATACOMBS was surprisingly easy to me on the first play through. I actually went there to farm once :D
As far as I'm concerned, this playthrough is the canonical story of the chosen undead.
I find it hilarious how Peeve asks Obobobo if he has a divine weapon and it's a divine falchion.
Uh. . no it isn't a divine falchion. oroboro uses a falchion +15. divine falchion can't be buffed by darkmoon blade. . .
He switched back to his regular falchion mid-fight. He did indeed have a divine falchion.
Can't believe this... How is every episode better than the previous, when those are epic as well? I laughed damn hard for the first encounter with Patches, but the ending scene was just pure art.
Astounding work guys, damn shame this playthrough is coming to a close. You really kindle this game all the way to the end, so a bonfire is already burning in the realm of DaS2.

OroandPeeve I know you guys have been busy on your personal channels because of DKS2 but I know a lot of people like myself are missing this series and content from this channel. Also, maybe when you all are done with this series you all can start a modded DKS2 series that is similar to this one. This is by far the best series I have watched and would like to see what you all two come up with for the DKS2.

But man, that was a great episode, I am all stressed up and I'm not sweating just because it's cold where I live, so freaking intense. I will never, ever say how frustrating this or that part of any game is after watching this... Ok, maybe I will, but brilliant work boys, you guys deserve a long rest after what you have been through.

Fun fact- I was so bad at this area a friend took away my controller for the run up to Nito . Got sick of watching me die. Maybe 10 deaths to get from the start of the catacombs to the bonfire where you start the run to Nito. 20 more from there on out. Only area in any souls game I sincerely just don't find fun at all. BLIGHTOWN was fun compared to the tomb!
Agreed, Blighttown was nowhere near as horrible as Tomb of the Giants. Besides the whole Toxicity and Poison based enemies, it was a breeze to get through Blighttown.

34:08 I know that feeling. That feeling of, "I didn't place the Lordvessel and I just touched the bonfire in the Tomb of the Giants." It was my first playthrough, so I spent the better part of a week to get back to Firelink Shrine because I also skipped turning all the bridges in the catacombs and was around level 50. These are the kind of memories that make me love Dark Souls.
+Goongala I don't get it. What's with the lordvessel? What did that part mean?
+Emrys Wledig if the lordvessel isnt placed you cannot continue and also you cannot warp. meaning you have to manually walk backwards UP the tomb of giants AND catacombs. ive never done this but i think i want to experie ce true pain... im gonna try it. i didnt even know u could get back up tomb of giants after u slide down the coffins.... but there has to be or the games broke... looking forward to this! :)
+gordon renes It's possible to get back up, but incredibly difficult if you're new to the game. I spent several hours a day for several days trying to get back out. Nowadays, I would have just made a new character, but back then the idea didn't even cross my mind. I praised the sun hard when I finally got out.

I have watched this twice and this is, by far, the funniest oroandpeeve video I've seen. Brandon and his jokes, peeve with the sarcastic quips, everything is quality.
The fact that the skeleton body-slammed onto Peeve like a spider descending from the ceiling kind of makes the beginning.
I liked and subbed because of the revenge on patches.

peeve outplaying the skeleton dogs from 53:17-56:13 and oroboro coming to save the day is the most stressful and impressive dark souls i've ever seen. bravo

They're busy with DkS2. Likely they have the footage but just haven't uploaded/edited it. I honestly hope they DON'T do this sort of thing for DkS2 unless they do a SL1 Co-op. The sequel is way too easy, now as long as you understand the concepts of dodging it's easy, whereas before you had to know specific details. Also, the changes to poise, while somewhat in the right direction, are a bit bad. Gosh, no wonder I'm playing DkS1 right now.
So am I but I completed Dks2 on NG++ so I though I'd have some fun with random pvp builds on dks which are faster to make than on dks2

Ya, I went down a little ways and was like. "Noooope!" And I turned around. Came back couple days later as Smough and had a glowing maggot mask or whatever it's called. And felt a little safer.. Till I found out what was down there.. Then Patches betrayed me.
King Leonidas i accidentally said yes to being a cleric and i had to smash him to death on my giant dad...
Paladin Leeroy Same. I actually kicked him off the edge, then plunge attack haha.
Fun fact: if you kick Patches down his own cliff before the cutscene, he will then magically teleport back up and kick you down when you look down the pit. Son of a bitch still has tricks up his sleeve >:(
