Hi. I'm James Knott and this is your Better Beer Authority. Today's beer was given to us by Brad Allen, a friend of the show from the West Coast. Thanks Brad! You're amazing.
The Immortal IPA is brewed by the Elysian Brewing Company, which was founded in Seattle, Washington in 1995.
Elysian operates three brewpubs in Seattle and opened a production brewery in 2011.
This American IPA is 6.3% ABV and 54 IBUs. It is available in 22oz bombers and kegs.
This ale is bittered with Chinook and finished with Amarillo and Centennial hops.
IPAs should be consumed fresh, but there is no freshness date on the bottle, so we will cross our fingers and hope for the best.

Diggin' the glasses! Sounds like a really nice and straight forward IPA. I've heard of Elysian, but never gotten to try anything by them. Great review as usual guys! Hope you all had a great 4th of July!

I'm still gonna meet-up with ya down there in Lewis for a beer sometime...and yes, I think the final beer will be (what I was supposed to send you but never got around to doing...yeah...that one!) Cheers James - just try and put yourself on this side of the screen...HUGE difference...you have probably 'THE' best beer review channel on U-Tube...Chris Steltz is fantastic as are plenty of others but your format/production is what sets you apart from the rest. The BBA must go on...

The Immortal is by no means a mind blowing amazing IPA... but it is, as the name states, an immortal beer. Really, it's the perfect balance of hops and malt. That's why anyone can enjoy it, eh. Mt craft beer friends will like and my macro beer friends will embrace it way more than the regular hop bomb.
