Honestly... I was out in 2014 at the marches, at the protests, I was so desperate for independence, but now I'd rather see the snp sort itself out as a party, it just feels like an utter mess, and to have a party in a mess run a country... Not great imho.. So atm I'd rather put indy on the back burner till they can get the party sorted and maybe get stuff back on track..

Why isn’t Flynn First Minister?
He’s not a member of the Scottish Parliament. Now if we had a Scottish election he could stand as a candidate and potentially become First Minister that was, but current Scottish polling makes it unlikely the SNP will be in a position to govern, at least not without gaining support from a pro Union party, and that would be mean no Indyref and no moves towards one.

For a Westminster GE, the Scottish Greens are polling around 4-5%.
For a Scottish Parliament Election, they are polling at 3-4% or 8-10%, depending if you look at constituency or regional polling.
